Quantum State's album was a nice surprise for me! Their previous releases sounded a little bit immature (q generation for instance, which was a very nice track but not sounded so good), but Subatomic Travellers is a real killer!
Their style is really uniqe, it is really hard to find similar acts. The strongest part of the album are the basslines: really hard and dancable grooves. These guys do not seem to be some happy ones at all:) Most of the tracks are very dark, and stressy, but they are flowing on high intensity as well. Most of the tracks are on 146, so a many of them will fit into my dj set:) I like n-code (sounds like a live guitar track!) life hurtz, natural born idiots and dark trancer the most...and hippies with credit card is the best track title i've meet in this year:DD
The album is not exactly the style of Boom! Records, but it could be a really good new way to them!
I've heard really good feedbacks about their live acts (high energy, live guitar, good contact with the crowd) and i am looking forward catching'em live somewhere!

yes, thank you for posting that. i bought the cd on a whim and it really surprised me. very dark and full on, just like i like it!
