I've got a new track called 'Rusty' available for download. You can find it here:

It's a bit off-the-wall, kind of weird, darkish and atonal, but also a bit kooky and groovy. It's the result of me experimenting with certain softsynths capable of some really bizarre sounds. If you're curious about psytrance with a twist of the unconventional, give it a spin, and I hope you enjoy it.

yes itis wierd give it a bit more kick and maybe a couple more sound but id like to hear it live i cant grasp how it would sound but would liek to we definately need people exploring in this scene

Yeah, I know the mix isn't quite perfect, and I have a mind to go back to the track and touch it up a bit more at some point.

But the main thing about this track is that it's an experiment with a couple of softsynths that can do a lot of really out-of-the-ordinary stuff (namely Absynth 2 and Logic 7's 'Sculpture' instrument). Apart from a few percussion parts, it's all Absynth 2 and Sculpture (with Logic effects). I'm trying to put a bit more 'psychedelic' back in to 'psychedelic trance'.

I'll probably post another version of the track at some time in the future, but I'm on a steep learning curve with Logic 7, which I only recently acquired. And I need to work on something new to further develop my arrangement techniques, which I can then use to go back and give 'Rusty' a bit of a shuffle and a tweak.

And yeah, I'd be happy to review some of your own music.
