The majority of labels don't pay attention to quality these days. In fact many of those who did have also begun to dwindle in the past release or two. With the bar label managers have set being so low, artists are able to sell third rate tracks without having to painstakingly create a masterpiece. So, not only has the quality of music reduced but also the quantity of quality music. I can only think of 4-5 artists and labels who are actually obsessed by quality. On the bright side however, the labels spewing junk will be eliminated in due course. This is good news.

in the end i would agree with Basilisk.
I did a break with a lot of experimental stuff and i would say the same as Basilisk..
No more difference was offered in the last decade, so keep quite !
music is evolving and i won't dance to the old stuff again and again ... sorry...

Jesus i cant believe im seeing this, basically for you psytance is like fashion, other people wear the ugly clothes so why not im gonna wear them too kind of guy am i right?....if you've been listening to psytrance long enough than you should realise that the music we r getting now a days is not evolution at all!, what evolution are you talking about? the cheesy 'new' sounds? is that what you call evolution? music that sounds like the bloody soundtrack of a super mario game?, well dude if you think so im sorry to say that you never understood psytrance & never will.

Studies on the brain while listening to music have shown that each human mind uses subtly different areas of the brain to listen to music, so unique is it, that no two people used the exact same areas.
Therefore, there are 6+ billion different musical tastes on this planet, and is not a discussion of absolutes, but of subjectivity. One mans trash is another mans treasure.
It's why no matter how shitty of music someone likes I try not to bash them for it, instead I try and find music commonality with them.
So the question you then need to ask yourself is which evolutions of psychedelic trance do you like, find them and support them.
