hey guys
i have some questions about recording label
what kinda stuff can make your song reject by the label, i mean if i use an arpeggiator in my tracks ? if i use samples etc .. |

not the samples or arpegiator it s more about the music, if it suit the label sound or not .
also production quality ,it should be on par with what the label release.
some labels are not intrested in new artists cause you don t give a compilation more sell with your name ,they will release you only if you make really good music. |

It's mostly a matter of taste from what I've heard. I would assume most want tracks similar to their previous releases (kind of how you expect a certain sound from different labels). In addition, if it's a track for a compilation, it'd have to be something that fits the idea of the comp.

Being a label owner:
1. Find a label that suits your style. Don't send electro house to a fullon label and no darkpsy to a goa label.
2. Make good music! Most important.

Make a SoundCloud account, upload your tracks there and share your music first with the Isra-Trance family..!!  )
@psypersia: Belive me they will tell you everything you wanna know about your sound/ideas/production and make you a good producer for sure..!! ;D
And you must also be prepared for harsh critics, but don't worry they don't bite.. xDD

And what's wrong with that?
Maybe it's good enough to be on a party, but not good enough for a release, or not fitting enough for a specific release.
We do that all the time - of course we ask the artist's permission.

In many cases, they wont even release you even if your Jesus Christ. My friend is ungodly at music, keyboard, piano, jazz, and especially electronic music. Nobody will sign him. He's better than 99% of releases I hear.
however i am going to work really hard on a demo that i know surpasses most releases today and send it into as many places as i can. i'm at the point where i know my place. i can do what most artists do i just rarely evolve an idea into a complete work. i tend to setup a framework and leave it without adding all the extra flares that make something truly special.
i guess i will prove soon if label will sign based on skill alone.

there is only 1 reason i know to be rejected by label.. its to make music.
today they are fullon / prog / dark labels and even if they like your sounds but its not in their genre you have 0% to get released but you will get many "great stuff we love it but not release it"
(they release only copy/paste of some artist they really liked 4 years ago)
dumb world.. there isnt 1 thing i hate more that this stupid answer.. on the other hand it shows how idiots people are so im happy not to work with them
