well well the party was Niceeeeeeee..I didnt listen much from bamboo i think i got a bit late but this little i heard was pretty goood.Shane insaaane
nice place(the best for parties for me)with a lot of space to dance,nice ppl,friendly security and the sound was very satisfactory!!
i hope more will come there..the place rooox
thank you for a great night and morning..next time maybe the party ends a bit later?

well... domestic really not my musical taste ....
but shane really smashed the dancefloor!!!!
it seemed to me like a real reunion .... so we wait for
the 22nd event when we gonna burn the dancefloor!!!!
with exactly my musical taste of course !!!!
i think that tristan will need a little bit more of sound!!!

The place is big, no doubt about it. Still, better sound treatment is a must. You can hear the whole metal construction resonate with each bassdrum. The black curtains should reach the end of the hall, since no 2nd towers were installed. It is a very difficult place soundwise, and lots of treatment is required. There were the same problems with juno reactor.
Also, some visuals or projectors would be nice. The light show was inadequate in my opinion, in such a big place. No decoration, no visuals, people also need to catch beautiful things with their eyes. It a trance party after all.
The bar also needs serious rearrangement. My friend ordered vodka with redbull (10eur) , which is a really common drink, and in the end he got a vodka in a glass, and a red-bull in a second one (coz they couldnt offer a mixed one)...come on !!!
Musicwise, domestic's set was a typical set that could be done by any greek dj. Bamboo forest played too early and most people missed it, and shane did a good job indeed, I danced most of his set.
Hopes for better stuff next time.

Thanks everyone for the support and glad to see that you had fun in our event.
Now some short answers to some questions.
Psy-trip we also wanted the event to finish later since Shane Gobi was giving a hell of a perfomance but unfortunately we were informed that we got to finish somewhere around 7:30 because afterwards the cleaning services must enter the building and the outside area and perfectly clean it and return it to its original state because every Sunday morning various schools visit the area and everything must be spot on with no empty glasses on the floor or cigarettes.We were informed that time wont be a problem on New Year but for the rest of events till then we got to finish around 07:30.
Other Reality and Vally concerning the soundsystem,as Other Reality wisely noticed this is a very very difficult place to treat soundwise,not only it is huge in size with a very high roof but also (and most importantly) the construction of the building is from such materials (as we discussed with Shane Gobi and our technicians) that they absorb the sound instead of sending it back to the dancefloor,this means that the sound if you dont stand close to the speakers might sound "dry" and there is an issue with the high frequencies.The only thing we can do at the moment is to try and do a better soundcheck now that we know what the problem is and see how we can treat it.The real solution would be to put soundproof material all over the place but not only we are not allowed to do that but also it would cost us a fortune.
Concerning the visuals expect a projector on our next event,we feel that is necessery indeed.
Other Reality concerning the red bull and vodka question,i am sure that you dont know the current legislation on the issue of mixing red bull with other alcoholic drinks therefore you wonder about your friend getting a seperate glass of vodka and seperate glass of red bull.According to the greek law it is prohibited for any bar to offer a mixed drink of redbull with any other alcoholic drink like vodka for example,for the same reason it is illegal to advertise on a poster both the redbull logo and lets say a whiskey or a vodka logo.For this reason your friend got two seperate glasses so that the bar follows this legislation,what he does with those glasses is his issue afterwards

Concerning the sound treatment, I believe that the only true solution is the installation of delayed towers (clusters), somewhere in the middle of the hall. The roof is a problem that cannot be fixed without costly installations (such as the room in room technique, refer to your technicians for further explanations) . Large thick fabrics on the sides would help as well, and could be also used in a versatile way such as decoration. Anyway, since this is a good place for parties, it should finally sound good too, hence my concern.

I am too sad that I missed it... NR6 reminds me lots of good times.
Regarding the sound, I think nothing could happen seriously better, except if you spend a fortune as puzzle said. Even in Juno Reactor, with the best p.a. company in Greece and with some serious gear (dV-Dosc and XTA processors with advanced tuning), the sound had the problems of phase cancelation with the effect of frequency loss.
But NR 6 is Nr6 AND WE LOVE IT!!!

i have to say that the price 30 eurw was "ok" but to pay 5 more for a bree ? lolol noway it was expencive we gave much money to drink just a beer... the other is that in events like this you guys had to prepare a nice deco but no deco at all just some visual robot lights around this is nothing you had 3 great names and i didnt saw deco also i had to pay for the beer even if i gave 30 eur. with 40 euro more i payed the ozora entrance and you want to pay 30 +drink ?lol anyway the djs was great shane was killer !!1 i dont like to complain that why i end my words here .ps:next time show as a psychedelic place with many psy things for deco. boom bole prepare better for the next time |
