By the way is isratrance ever going to bring that section back?           "The dinosaurs became extinct because they didn't have a space program."

only when we feel we found a moderator that thinks about things in the same line as we do and we can trust for this we'll consider it. This hasn't happened yet. Sorry.           ---------------------------------------------

Sahar my friend, how long the Portuguese people (artist, dj's, labels, party productions, and who realy like it) need to wait?
It's passed more than a year...
Remenber that Portugal is the 3º or 4º country with more people registed... don't u think they need to know something?
just my opinion...

yes guys, come on give us a second chance, set yourself goals , like if in the first 2 weeks there are any problems, you just close it again for example.

i think everyone already understood that if we don´t behave them we are the only ones losing cause you´d lock it again

give it a try, maybe choosing moderators that are not related in any way with any label, or that are not djs, which is, that they will have an absolut neutral position to deal with every situation would solve this situation and garantee a helthy portugueses isratrance section ...

cheers

Sorry guys, as ShivaS said, that hasn't happend yet. Plus we just don't have the energy to deal with this right now. We're humans too, we have a limited amount of energy and we're all very busy people.

Hopefully the time will come to open it again soon. But I really don't know....
I've put it on the (very very long) list of things to do in the forum.           ---------------------------------------------

to shahar:

with all the respect, once again i think that closing the portuguese section might have been the easiest way out, but at the same time, the most unfair to the majority of the users, that were not makin any kind of trouble. i think you know as well as we knew exactly who was makin all the troubles, the insults, and the bad atmosphere created. i think that banning those few users would have kept the portuguese section alive, as a much more respectful treat for all those users that were always correct in the use of this forum.

i think that you are 100% aware of the importance this forum gainned through out the years as a tool for artists, labels, and even comon users. Keeping the portuguese section closed for more than a year now, i think is a big punishment for all of us, in a way that most of us had nothing to do the fights that were held in a daily basis in the portuguese section by a few people you can count with one hand. we are more than 350 portuguese users regitered...

i know this issue is getting a bit off topic as it has been raised here over and over again, always getting the exact same feedback from you.

i wonder if you really believe this is what would solve this problem... when you have choosen the portuguese moderators i guess you believed they thought the same way as you did, and this hasn´t prevented things from happening the way they did... and i can´t blame any moderator of the portuguese section, it was not their fault things went out the way they did, but again those few users that couldn´t held their egos, and just shooted the direction they were heading to, we know who they were, and you also know who they are...

well lithium my friend... u have the point where... because i'm where for soo long time, and problems exists in all places, and is very unfair that all (more than 350 users) have to pay this price because 3 or 4 guys, who only came here to make troubles...
I think like u that this are the most important, just because in others foruns for example, u make troubles, u get banned, and that seems to me fair...
And one thing is true, the old moderators don't are the problem... they are just there to do their job, "it was not their fault things went out the way they did" ...
with all respect...

Easiest way? We tried to keep the section alive I dunno for how long, we changed moderators, asked, gave more and more chances, some of the team members out of Portugal tried to join on the Portugal section- it didn't work man.

Actually we didn't. One of the things we've learned from the whole mess with that section is that we will not open a new section till we feel safe that we have that kind of moderator, preferably a few.           ---------------------------------------------
