Pushkar...
I remember my trip in 2006. Nice colourful place... busy street with firangs on season time. This time of the year all tourist are up in Manali. They come to pushkar only by late sept.
Its tranquil next to the lake with all temples around. Sunset or Sunrise next to the lake is beautiful. Hmm, Pink Floyd and there are other roof top cafe's around where you might find like minded people chillin' out. You knw wat I mean...
Small gathering of crowd gets into a party. Dj's (dont expect big names) belt out crazy psytrance also, you can carry ur music and if you knw to play... make crowd stomp the floor. Its good... one should experience.
Good place to shop around for accessories and psy tshirts. Bargain Hard!! Above, all one will find American breakfast and isra cuisine on menu. Some places menu's are written in hebrew. Same as manala...

pushkar is good only in season time.i just came back frm there and there was no shit to buy.
so got off to kasol for some trip hehehe.
my past experiences r good at pushkar.
gone for 2 years on new years eve.
31 dec 2006 was in the jungle facing the hills closely.good party but fu#$%^% in the brain. but awesome experinece in the end.
31 dec 2007 was first a fuckall party asking for himesh reshamiya,may be i got to a wrong place,then finally reached the other scene with good vibes @ some farm.fine party but i left early.
so for pushkar u need to
find good party
thats it.
good music good people = Astral experience.

nothing like thamel n i thank brahma for that hehehehe ...no strip clubs , no alcohol , no loud rock n roll ( sigh !!) ...but its not for the janta psy crowd also ...i was walking around in ma hoffie t ( u might remember this one the only one this poor fuck has ) n i was being stared at whereas the friends with me ( even though with dredds n all ) who were wearin just indian kurta's were quiet welcome in d town ....loads of brotha's from Bangy were there after the dust scene ...ill let u know offline

Pushkar is a different experience... its a good one... u shud go once... keet it on the itenary on the way to wherever u r goin... good to take a break n just relax n chill for few days... go in season time for a better shopping experience  |
