Looks like I'll have to start saving some money in order to get to Belgium. Maybe in the summer, if I convince some friends to come with me.
And also about the videos - looks like the people there are really enjoying themselves !

I also know that some goa parties are organised here in Slovenia, but I somehow never make it to them .

Personally even though I like the style, but it`s pointless to keep reviving dead styles for a very small crowd.
Universo paralello, has sucessfully managed to keep a stage rather active for two years running but the second the main stage opens up, I personally didn`t go back there.
And I do agree with the person that said, too many stages can get rather agravating.

main stage, alternative, chill-out, goa, some have dark stages too much ground not enough time so something has to lose out in the end.

Just a thought - isn't it possible that the it's the other way around: the crowd is so small, because there arent that many goa parties?

It also looks like Universo paralello is worth checking out.

ahem... its not reviving a dead style... who said goa is dead? suntrip and a few other labels are proving totally different... and if were talking about dead styles... clubby climaxing hands in the air with a womens voice in the background fullon has been dead since it was invented... but you can still hear it in way too many parties so most people are left with the choice between dark and prog or the usual fullon...

goa is just simply on a much broader spectrum than these styles and if you are looking for psychedelia and emotions/atmosphere - you get it the most on goa tracks and thats a fact

Hehe, what about different styles of goa. (joke)

I'd be happy just to be on a festival, where one of the stages is just for goa.

That would be nice, but there is a slightly depressing aspect about what it says about the present. Like in the Goa days nobody was saying hey lets go and have a festival with only music from the 60s. It wasn't needed because the new vision had all the soul , heart, spirituality and mind blowing far out aspects that people needed to feel they were becoming free.

Yeah a Goa festival would be nice but what we really need is NEW music that can make us feel as connected to the cosmos and our true self as Goa did back in the days. You know, dancing with all your soul digging those songs 1000% percent.

So yeah we can repeat those songs but eventually we want to finally get it again. So we can take those feelings that Goa music touches and discover them in a new dimensions, at new and higher levels and greater depths and finally express them in completely new ways because creativity is like infinite. So it’s not about the kick or the beat or the sound so much. Its about reaching out to our higher self, to our inner and outer cosmos and reclaim our forgotten freedom that connects us infinitely with the cosmos. Anything less will simply not feel complete and fullfilling enough. And I think back in the Goa days the freaks were reaching out for that vision, thus the music was incredible.

We have to stop for a moment and ask what we are creating. Like why are we making music and how high do we want to reach? I mean what is the difference, we might as well go all the way.

Its like maybe Buddha in the past reached very enlighted state of counsciousness and thousands of years later everyone still keeps on going back to his teachings because they were so powerful. Well maybe music can be like that too and in the Goa days for some reason we broke into some higher dimension where we really felt free!!

I believe that the most psychedelic music is the music of the soul and heart in all its purity and freedom. The problem I see is that in this fast world and modern society our souls are like burried admist all that is fed to us since we are born, we can not even recognize it as part of us so much. It’s like a longing which touches our most beautiful inner self but which we see far away in glimpses only, like a dream somewhere far away but beyond our everyday lives. Somethig we never really aim to discover for real.

How did we end up here. Or is it just me?

I feel we are so alienated from our true inner being, that truly following our hearts has almost totally being ruled out these days. You got to be crazy to do that. And crazy were those fucking Goa pioneers that made all that incredible music. And we scratched the matrix, and from there came out all this psychedelic wonderland of music tnat you could feel and dig down to the bone!

So yeah we can play those old records or try and get back to the mission again. You know? Climb that aswesome mountain of our soul and heart!!! Keep on shinning sisters and brothers!!

All I am saying is that we can not make incredible psychedelic music unless we raise our counsciousness and go get what is our true heritage: our freedom and infinite connection to the universe!!! That is what those Goa melodies talk about. That why they are so sublime and melt your heart in cosmic pleasure.

You may not be an artist but you can free your mind and recover your soul and raise the psychedelic vibration until it blows your mind and you are satisfied. The music will just be a reflection of your own counsciouness.

Groove IS in the heart!!!

heh... aluxe there are some right points you have in your post - but ill be honest here and say that for me atleast - its just a different kind of music that evokes different kind of feelings for me, goa trance is the purest form of music no matter how bad the production or the bassline is - it still makes all these emotions come out of you and puts you in a different state of mind, like hardly any other type of music ive listened to, thats also the reason ive been going retro in the past few months and listening almost only to goa from 95-98 and some newer produced goa - as its the reason ive gotten into trance

so yea there are other genres out there which are "better produced" and have better basslines and fx - but hardly any of them have the soul and the ability to put you in a state of mind like goa does

oh and anoebis... please make a label party in israel

Well just so you know, Goa is my favorite music, at least my favorite trance music for sure. And I find myself VERY FRUSTRATED with most of the music coming out these days because it just doesn’t take you to the spiritual and psychedelic depths Goa does. So I find myself listening to a lot of old Goa because most of the music coming out today seems like a spiritual musical downgrade. Sorry to say that. So yeah I fully understand how great the old Goa music is. But to keep on listening to the same old tracks over and over also speaks a lot about what we do not have in the present. And that’s all I am saying. I mean come on, what we really need is the new hyper psychedelic spiritually intoxicated Goa tracks. And new Goa tracks would mean not just tracks that sound like the old Goa tracks from 10 years ago but tracks that raise the bar to new heights and depths and express the vision in new creative ways. Because Goa was never stale and repetitive, it was always fresh and was never really looking back so much, it was awake in the present rocking to the stars in the now. The mantras were fresh, not just parroted as its some kind of formula. It had that special creative energy of freedom and love. So yeah, take that beautiful Goa vision and take it forward, to the next level, not just getting stuck in groundhog day.

And that will require spiritual growth, spiritual awakening, psychedelic exploration, our desire for the truth. And the good psychedelic drum will start to beat again.

You know what I am saying? Moving we need to ignite that inner ufo again to take off into psychedelic space and create the new Goa!! Only then can the new psychedelic era flourish again.

one word:
filteria

listen to his music and tell me it isnt a "new kind of goa"

of course there are a few other examples but in my opinion his music represents what i love about goa trance, and he does take it to a different level - on most of his tracks there are so many layers... just listen to his last cd and youll understand

a track which represents this side of his music was his remix to jikooha - My Revolution And Yours - beautiful beautiful arrangements and so many layers flying at you... just love it
