nice i like the kinda unic sound caractere on this one, sound like what it is, a hybryd analog/digital synth to me
is it possible to retriger the dco phase? it sure deliver for goa bassline from the sample i heard would be nice if the option is there

haha ! damn.. mate do you use reaktor?
i m thinking to make a great rompler for psybass. from my experiment it will kill for psybass...i will first try with Xs saw and if it work great i might need more
if it dont work as it should (for any reasons if the reaktor sample player i will use dont give as good result as a oscillator) i might just do a kontakt instrument..

something that may be problematic is with sample it s tricky to control their phase starting point

'note on-signal for sync with gate' does the trick for oscillators, never tried it with samples, but sure there's got to be a work around that to.
so that means: start and gate module going into a "+" thing, then to the "sync" input.
Was also able to set the "phase init" value once, but don't remember how I did that. Can take a look if you need. Cheers

asked jered the guy behind future retro it told me it s no possible on the xs.. anyway on some synth like the xs depending the waveforme retriger without phase flip control is almost useless or you can loose lot of drive or headroom if you have to adjust the wavform by delaying the track time.. so bets is to sample in the end.. like one sample at eah octave is enought on kontakt max quality...that way it can be even better if you equed a bit the sample..

thought you were asking about pre-sampled notes from the XS turned into a rompler instrument using Reaktor's sampler capabilities. would be interesting to read on that if that's what you're into, as never made a sampler thing with Reaktor myself.

yes man i didn t read the thread back it s what i was looking to do .. things i noticed while doing some test.. sample just the analog osilator is just half of the goodies.it s still sound better than plugins (a/bed to massive that is decent and no context..the xs saw with a digital filter still sound fuller and better , like it s clean in comparaison) but where it really better is when using the analog filter and making the full bass patch ..it srupsied me cause thee is no resonance or just little but plugins like massive would need way more processing to sound anywhere as good and i doubt they can...( but used chain with transformers to sample and slight analog eq boost of the low end..that could be that too ,it s like cheating..i should have run massive there too for better compraison)
best todo is make kontakt instrument .. there is some decent filter in kontakt 5 too.. but like i said it don t sond as good as with the annalog , it make the saw sound more plastic strangely but it still work good

1min 15 in, lfos seem to go to audio rate then to step values of something, really nice feature°°°ACTS 4:12°°°°

from what i have read from a few guys owning bass station 2 and this ,the pulse slay the bass station except in the lower octaves and the saturation and offcourse the ease of use.
to me it seems like one of the most intresting synth around that price
