All of this sounds very familiar, like we’re experiencing a serious case of Déjà vu!? Well maybe it’s just a coincidence, or maybe we’ve all gone Looney mad over here at the PULSE SF labs. We think it may be the latter because we’ve quite possibly assembled one of the biggest indoor psytrance lineups that the West Coast has ever seen yet again! Our last event went retro in April with Green Nuns of the Revolution, Dickster, AMD and Aphid Moon, and was a very special night thanks to all of you! But this time we wanted to tap into the best new producers in the genre today and feature multiple styles of psytrance from bouncy full on to hard pounding nighttime power!
It is truly our honor and privilege once again to announce this very special lineup, location, and event. Without further ado, we present your “soon to be” LEGENDARY Audio Dimensional Navigators for the evening!

:::ITAL *LIVE* (Antu Records, Chile):::
Chilean based Producer Daniel Carcur is the sound engineer and label manager of Antu Records. Starting his career as a guitar player, he went through several styles of popular music until he arrived to his true passion, Psychedelic trance music. He started producing psytrance in 2001 with his friend Andrés Rodillo and formed one of the pioneering projects of the local Chilean scene, "Metatron". Three years later in 2004, he decided to create his own project, "Ital" which in Patois African dialect means "purity." Each Ital production incorporates the fundamental concept of the expansion of all the purity that surrounds us, to be projected as sound waves towards our ever-expanding universe. His style is characterized as groovy full-on with a unique character and style, full of atmosphere and psychedelia. In September 2007 he created the first psytrance Chilean label "Antu Records" which in the indigenous Chilean language means "Sun." Now embarking on his first US appearance he is ready to show North America what the rest of the world already knows: that Ital is one of the elite producers in the genre today!

Florence based musician, Andrea Lunghi a.k.a DUST is rising strong from the underground vaults of Looney Moon Records. In his space lab located in the heart of Florence, Dust has been shaping sounds since 2004 and has releases on a large number of compilations this year alone. Blessed with a musical range stretching from nighttime haunts and forest soundz to the groove of daylight full on, every track he touches has that unmistakable Dusty sound. Most of us have caught a glimpse of this dusty surprise on compilations, while the full-length album "I don't like psychedelics" is eagerly awaited for release on Looney Moon Records this year. Often suspected of having either alien DNA or robotic nerves, he blazes through his Live performances and heads back to the studio where the music unfolds under his numerous guises: Mindshuffle (with the italian Ilai from 24/7), FOAM (with Assioma from Looney Moon Records), Dust in Face (with Giacomo Phase), Assault Junkies (with Thomas Peace-ka), ComaDust (with Nicola Hypogeo/Comasector) and Latin Loser (with Giacomelli). Setting out on his first US performance and collaborating with the PULSE SF crew to mark the Album Release of Looney Moon’s latest killer compilation, TETRASPACE, Andrea is ready to blow up some US soil and create a cloud of DUST that will be seen from space and beyond!

:::ILAI *LIVE* (24/7 Records, ITALY):::
Ilai was born in September 1987 in Padova, Italy, where he still lives. From a young age he had a passion for music. He was introduced to electronic music at the age of 12, and at 16 he had his first experience as a DJ in Italy. In 2005 Ilai started to produce his own music under the name of Freak System and released his first tracks on the Italian label MK Records. After playing some of the biggest events in Italy and other countries, he created his new project Ilai in 2008. Psychedelic Answer was the track that immediately gave an impression of what his style would be: phat bass, embracing grooves and psychedelic melodies. Soon he released his first track on 24/7 Records and other releases on various labels followed. At this time he created a new project with his friend Dust (Andrea Lunghi) called "Mind Shuffle". In 2010 Ilai his first EP, "Impulse", was released on 24/7 Records and garnered a great response. In the summer of 2011, Ilai released his debut album, which includes collaborations with Materia, Mental Broadcast, and M-Theory. This will be Ilai’s first US performance and it promises to solidify his position as one of the best new full on artist of this decade!

Paul Scott has been a DJ and promoter since 1999 and founded the g.o.a.Play collective that same year. Psynthetic has more than ample experience and passion for throwing down a monstrous set or producing a ridiculously epic party. Psynthetic's musical journeys have allowed him to share the stage with some of the biggest and best psytrance producers in the world. Tapping into the moment at hand, every set is always different with intent to play songs that shake your body and your mind. Joining forces in late 2010 to create Pulse SF with Boston's own Infinite Sun and g.o.a.Play resident Tobal, the Pulse collective has already established a reputation for producing events of the highest quality. Now signing on with Aphid Moon Records UK in 2011 and firmly in his second decade as a DJ and promoter, Psynthetic is poised to show his dance floor blasting talents to a ever growing national audience!

Burke is a Colorado native who got his start in the Boulder/Denver electronic music scene. Burke moved to the Bay Area in 1999 and was one of the founding members of the legendary Aranji crew. Barefoot was known for his precise, clean mixing style, multi-genre music selection, and a strong audio theory background, allowing him to build the crowd into a frenzy. Burke studied electronic music production at Expression College of Digital Arts. He collaborated with his friend and music writing partner Brownboy on a psytrance project under the moniker Sea Creatures that became popular in the European psytrance scene. Burke is also known for his 2x4 DJ collaboration with Bay Area DJ Psynthetic called Prosthesis (Psynthetic+Barefoot), with a sound described by fans as a complex and driving audio vortex eliciting a trancelike state in its listeners.
