I had a listen, thought that the overall sound quality was good.. i did like the song and its pace was good too. leads were appealing and sat well with the rest of the song.. over all 8 out of 10 very nice...

Boom boom boom boom :o)

Hi L66 ,I had another listen the song still sounds great. i will be honest the goa style kick is not my favorite but you did a good job with it .. your high hats have a nice rhythm to them, but to me they might not be in the right frequency or they are just to solid sounding... Please whatever you do don't take my critics too seriously i have only been producing music for roughly a year so i am not a pro... but i hope my advice is motivating and not destructive.. I really have a hard time getting my high hats to sound good mine a roughly as good as yours i don't think mine are better... well i just have to keep on trying.

I do have a question for you. where are you from? and at 6.24 it seems that you smothly fade out from one lead to another but my real question is,, Is the "pattern" the same as the lead before 6.24?? the pattern does seem the same to me but i would just like to confirm my thought´s

AnyHoo i look forward to here from you and keep on booming

hey psyviz, i did a poor remastering job on this i will re-upload it later today i see what u mean , my eq levels on them are a bit harsh sounding - im in the same boat as you i have been making music for half the time (around 6 months) with no musical background at all just been listening to psy since around '97(pleiadeans ifo was my first album haha).
i am from Melbourne Australia but my background is greek - and yes that's the same pattern different patch i constructed on my virus.
cheers dude!

Well, L66 only 6 months and your work is very promising, i think you have archived a lot.. Keep up the good work. something i forgot to mention is that if you are happy and your hi hats, and they sound the way you want the listener to hear them, then they are fine. as your thread is in the workshop area i am giving you my opinion for the continuation of construction.. Save your projects under different names as to avoid overwriting the original ((:-)

Melbourne Australia Hey cool.. trance scene looks good there i would love to go there one day... And cool you got a virus, sweet synth i dont have any hardware other than my computer... little old p4

Here´s a tip, you might want to add to your tracks. NOISE, my friend can make really sweet sweeps you know those rising sweeps? some are made from noise... and here´s how i do it.. find a synth you know well select its default patch or empty patch add Wihte noise wave , i take 1 and 1/2 bars and make a single note, it does not matter which key you choose add about 75% dec 75% sus or more if needed or less depending on how you want the sweep to end or react, add a fair amount of res, cutof about half way and if needed add a 1/4 delay to make it´s transition smooth, Hope this helps.. You can also reverse the sweep and it make a winding down effect

Kind regards Me )

yeah thats how i made my sweeps too, the virus is actualy a powercore virus (pci-e card) i am saving for a nord lead 2x and hopefully i can find a roland jp-8080 to get some of those awesome gritty sounds it can produce.
i have been trying very hard reading, watching tutorials, listening to music but there is only so much i can take at times till i get frustrated haha - plus im doing a uni course making music for games, so not only psy trance did u get that pm?
