Bodhi's set was Amazing!!!

Thanks man. It was a nice preview of your upcomming album.

Psytribe needs to book more psy acts like this. Dark, twisted, innovating.

I am not sure who played after Bodhi but to me personally it sounded almost like house music.

I did like the pary.

Thanks Psytribe.

at least you didnt say bodhi-sativa or bud-hi sativa or one of those variations

This reminds me of the story of the Buddha and one of his disciples arguing the importance of the English spelling of a Sanskrit word...after all, you can't become enlightened if you can't spell it right, eh?

it was supposed to b a party with psy trance music..bt most of the time it was house or techno sorts,.

LA needs pure trance stuff rather than variations of the same..

People dancing lk mad for this stuff,..cudnt help imagine them in a full-on with killer grooves.

peace

Thank you to everyone who came out, the energy was really high, people where screaming and dancing until 7:am Max played an extented set, had people rocking out for hours, KonFlux started out the night perfect, by 11:pm he had people screaming, then Maska took over who was my personal favorite of the night, I still have that Star Wars trak by Twisted System in my head, Thank you to Bohdi and Deeper in Zen for there professionalism, for coming through and providing there great attitude and vibe to our party.
mostly everyone enjoyed Bohdi and Depper in Zen, had a few girls complain that the music was to hard, dark or psychedelic for them with Bohdi, and when deeper in zen played had a few guys say the music was to soft for them, but even the few complainers where dancing, smiling and having fun...around 2:am 6 cops showed up to inspect the club which they said was basic procedure, never happened to us before, when we did PsyFix there for a year, but there is a first for everything, luckily they couldn't find anything wrong and left. Spyro and I shit bricks for a few minutes. anyways..Stay tuned for the next PsyTribe party when the weather gets a little warmer we will go outdoors, and we will possibly do another Saturday party at Helios, why not...until then see you at PsyFix Wednesday at Tempo where PsyTribe will celebrate the birth of DJ DAI, happy birthday Dai, I am sure he will have a specail birthday set for all of us.. see you there...

hmm i didn't think that artifakt, shift, twisted system, species, bodhi, sirius isness, etc. are house/techno artists...but then again i was one of those people dancing like mad
I can appreciate different types of trance but i don't love every type of trance. When I'm at home I listen to what I love. If I'm at a party then music is one component and is complemented by the people, the deco, the vibe, conversations, nature... I've been to parties where I didn't particularly love the music but all the other components fell into place and i danced all night.
Psyhippie you made it sound like you look down on the dancing people or maybe it was just their taste in music you were looking down on…either way, I would suggest you become a dj or producer (if you’re not already) and enlighten us with your killer music. If you are a dj or producer then please let us know next time you play. I’m always open to hearing good music or better yet how about a top ten?

Progress… that was Deeper in Zen who played after Bodhi

Sico… come home, we miss you and I need a good laugh

Think one need not be a DJ or producer to know what killa music is like..at least think its a basic rule - u need to be a pure music lover, whatever genre of music it be..

i m sure it might hv been good music to dance to, bt the whole theme of the event was good psy trance, and frankly feel it was more electronic stuff rather than psychdelic..

or mayb it was jus not my kinda trance.apologies for being so heavily sarcastic.

But I seriously hope orgs could think of other forms like spiritual, Goan trance or more underground stuff..

peace

I'm certain we all love music more than arguing and that's why we're here sharing ideas, opinions & feelings in this forum. I feel you... Been craving more psychedelia and less pop hit remixes myself. It was the darker stuff that bridged me over from the industrial/ebm/goth rock genres. There is definitely room and audiences for all. Okay, sounding like an after school special I'll quit before I venture further off topic. ~NAMASTE~ Karo

Looks like I missed a good time. Too bad but glad I didn't miss the outdoor party. I am studying like crazy for my real estate broker's test right now and just couldn't afford the time.

Looking forward to seeing you all real soon. Will be at Psyfix soon.

All I can say is wow.....Spyros and Andy, I love you guys more than you possibly know...You guys put nothing but love and positive energy into what we enjoy and you are so appreciated for it.....Thanks

As far as the negative comments...I say to each their own, but I can't say I understand why people would come to a Sirius Issness party and think it is going to be some mind bending psychedelic mayhem.........I thought a lighter touch later in the evening, early morning would be expected....but, I do understand when you love a style of music very much and never get to hear it on a big system, it can suck.....but to that, I can only say, you can't please everyone and I know Spyros and Andy go out of there way to try.......That's the best anyone can do.....

As far as the vibe and the people, phenomenal! I thought all the music was great....I am still trying to make sense of it all.

This party was absolutely awesome for an indoor, especially welcome during such a dry party period in so cal. Too bad the weather wasnt as dry as the frequency of parties around here has been lately, but at least it wasnt raining hard that night so we could enjoy the patio with the fire. My wife really enjoyed that.

And for the music..it was mostly full-on. But so what, thats psytribe's style. They asked me to play, and I played my own music, which is definitely not full-on, but more psychedelic. I only played for an hour though from 1am-2am, and after me Deeper in Zen played more progressive style, and then Max played more of the full-on style. For psytribe, it was an interesting lineup, but again this was an outdoor lineup condensed to fit for the night's venue. Spyros and Andy did an incredible job setting up this party last minute.           info/tourdates/psy
