I call full on/dark/prog/twilight, all the "psytrance" that is not psychedelic.
The argument on what is psychedelic, is compltely subjective by the way.
For example, I call Eskimo's, Astrix's, GMS's music, full on.
Tristan, Etnica, Master Blasters are a few of the acts that still make psychedelic trance.
Peace out.

You can ignore it too

Its really dumb arguing which one is better.
I think most "Versus" topics are dumb like the Artist vs Artist topics. It won't come to a conclusion wether who is better or in this case what style is better.
Theres some nice full-on out there with psytrance riffs you can't deny that.
I remember an idiot trying to make an "intersting" topic on facebook that was: Synth vs Sample (facepalm)
If you want more info in this guy he thinks he knows how to master his tracks by adding a bunch of random shit on his master output.
His basses are on c5.
Worst of all he says he makes psytrance.
Sorry I got carried away |

Yes, what is "psychedelic" is extremely subjective. I will say that full-on (as well as progressive psy, dark psy etc.) is simply a subgenre to psytrance. Some straying more towards eurotrance, electro or something more commercial though, but people sometimes seem to forget that there is more to full-on than GMS and Astrix. I still for instance consider acts like Etnica, Tristan and Absolum full on. And yes - ALSO psytrance.
