After having worked with news media as boom op/mixer I can attest to the fact that a lot of times they suck stories out of their fingers where there are none, or take stuff out of context, simply because they have no idea what the real story is or because they sell a story better when they change it...
it is sad...

The less coverage a psytrance scene gets, the better.
PSytrance festivals are something the mainstream doesnt understand too well.

I agree with you to a point, but here in NZ, where there is only a very small scene with a good environment and culture to grow it to a certain extent, any extra interest is always welcome. We have had a great response to what we do from most new trancers, and we will never let the party become commercial/mainstream because it's all about the music and we are all into quality full-on psytrance
