One great advantage to standalone is that it has an undo option, have not been able to do so when using it as a VST.

Btw, this thread got me checking out some videos on Maschine (never bothered until now) & now i'm really tempted to get one.
To the people who're using it in their studios, how useful is it for our style of music? I know it'll be great for hip-hop, dubstep etc. I think it might be helpful in laying down drum parts & be more inspiring rather than clicking around in cubase. Are you guys happy with your purchase?
Planning on getting a midi keyboard as well so if i get this, i'll probably go for a simple one to go along with it.

can only help for your beats, no matter the style as it make you tweak/do some stuff you wouldn t think wihtout it...to me it does that..
you many not need to use it at full potential for our needs with psy ,still great ..my beats stepped up with this cause of the extra control, the way you program and tweaks ect..the workflow, i don t regret the buy. i tried the soft first wihtout the hardware...couldn t stand it but with the controller it s great
now i m waiting ni to come with a full daw and a controller.. |
