I am the only one around using NI Maschine standalone as the main workstation for psy production?

I like the idea of it but I'm to heavily invested in hardware right now. I've finay got some new monitors on the way, a x0xb0x, Airia TR-8 on order & waiting for Minibrute SE. I was gonna also sell my Sub Phatty for a Sub37 but a good friend in the industry indicated a patchable version of the 37 might come out next year.           Cuntus Maximus.

Maschine is great and I use it a lot, but I don't see the point in limiting my self so much when I have a "proper" DAW that can run circles around it.

Sometimes limiting helps in creation workflow ;-)

Maschine 2.0 is huge step towards being a full daw

Would be nice if they let you run audio tracks inside

But yeah , quite limiting if you only use it, without a daw
But I rekon it will happen

Great to uee it with the modular tho, multiple clock sources on sdperate tracks           Â°Â°Â°ACTS 4:12°°°°

Yes it does, when I have only two VCOs, one LFO, 2 ADSRs on a synth and I have to make something interesting with such a limited synth.

Not when I have two good ideas in my head and I want to record a MIDI file, record the audio from the synth and then chop some of the audio regions up and reverse some parts of it. That is not inspiring, its just slowing me down.

But whatever floats your boat mate.

Limitation does help. Also I find spending time to know what you need rather than want. I really thought for the last 3 years I'd wanna go modular but having spent that time researching have realized it's not what I need at all, and I can put that money instead in to other aspects of my music journey that while not as exciting will give me a great studio.           Cuntus Maximus.
