astrix, xeno , sirius, cpu, yab, neuro, penta have all played in usa in the past few years afaik, maybe the others too.
the amount of people in the scene determines the amount of money in the scene and international artists are expensive. we are all blessed to have so many coming thru over the years....

@indiandawg
Did you read Monkey's response?
These artists have all played here.
Hey man. You are right. The USA trance scene is not hardcore... |

I'm ain't knocking any country out here, I like to make things better and not just leave them where they are and to make it better we have to deal with the facts and the fact is there are less International Djs in USA because of mainstream and I NAMED the artist who don't play mainstream so that may be people think that we need soemthing like what these artist play. THAT'S ALL !!!

Was that one sentence? I don't care what language you normally speak; but please be intelligible.

Ya know Mubali and Ocelot, Ghreg on Earth + many others are from here right?
The scene is hidden because it needs to be(big brother, consumer culture and expense)
Seek and ye shall find one of the most diverse and passionate communities i've ever seen.

I know mubali and ocelot are from california and I think they are one of the great dark artist.
I didn't mean to say USA people or parties are not hardcore, before and now i'm only talking about PSY. I don't mean either that local djs are not that great than international djs but all am saying if there is a lot more no of international djs coming up in USA like other countries we can make the PSY scene better when it comes to music cause even the local djs will get to learn a lot.
This is just my view.. if you don't think it's right, say it but don't stop me because am not doing anything besides giving my view.
and yeah I have spoken everything without knowing about UNDERGROUND scene so for me.. I got whole lot of diff views about PSY trance in USA so somebody try to help me rather than proving me wrong for no reason.

Frankly I like the psy scene in the states just fine the way it is. Many of the local artists DO travel and see "big name" and international psy artists and "learn" from them so that isn't a problem. Personally I would sacrifice less international performances for smaller scenes, better locations, closer knit groups of people, all of which are FAR more important to me than the music played (though I love the music to death), all your complaints require one thing to change things, money, money that doesn't exist in a scene that doesn't have the number of people to constantly fly in artists across the ocean to us. |

hey, I think dawg gets the picture. Although his accusation of US not being "hardcore" is a little hurtful I think he was just trying to suggest things could be even better, which they always can be.
Anyway... so psykovsky played in the desert last night... you're kidding me, right? that's beautiful.

I totally agree on that acplaughs.
Let me tell you something guys, I came out with this topic thinking that USA does not have a good psy scene and that's what I have heard and read on web. When I came to USA I became aware of main-stream and I really appreciated it but what I wanted I could never get there. PsyTribe was the only source for an outdoor party in USA for me. I came out with this topic with the intentions to people in USA listen to such KILLER PSY ARTIST.
I have friends in Bombay and Goa who organise psy parties and every other time I get to see International Djs + Local Dj so that's how we go about it. It's not that International Djs will dominate the PSY SCENE in a particular country if they start coming over again and again. It just makes it BETTER.
Look I really apperciate the underground scene in USA and another thing I came to know from this topic is USA people are happy with the scene but my friends I know that you guys are happy with the scene. I have no complaints about anything at all. All am saying lets make this scene better and better day by day because we love it.
PEACE |

Xenzodiak//Yab Yum//Talamasca//XSI//Protoculture//Azax Syndrome//Abonimation//Vibe Tribe//Shift//Compressor//XP Voodoo//Kindzadza//Psycovsky//Ocelot//Penta//Psysex//Samadhi//Super Sam(Iran)//Karan Bhoj(India)
Yab-Yum, Protoculture, Abomination, Shift, Psykovsky (this summer), Ocelot, Penta, Samadhi (almost),
have all play here since I went to college in 2005. so our scene is really not lacking that bad on international artists. except kindzadza. (weep weep, whimper whimper)
I think when kindzadza plays here:
a. russian and us relations are getting better.
b. it will be a hopping dancefloor cuz many people will come from all over the US to see him.
c. the us psyscene will be obviously getting better.
d. everyone who sees him play will love dark after that (j/k)
e. I WILL CREAM MY FUCKIN PANTS DURING HIS SET!
(and so will leximon tee hee) |

Nope, not kidding. Psycircle pulled out all the stops. It was one of the best sets I've ever witnessed.
About Kindzadza... isn't there a Kindzadza and Psykovsky project? Talk about a wicked combo. I agree! We need to get Kindzadza here too! |

OSOM is the project between Kindzadza and Psykovsky... An OSOM show in the US would be out of control... I'd probably go anywhere for that

I think a lot of you guys are taking one person's comments way too seriously.
It's his opinion and at least he is being honest about it.
