i think this thread is going offtopic...
my opinion:
if you realy want to make an event in sinay just do it,
dont expect to find here people that are willing to be your partners in this event
i think it wont happen in real life
as you can see sinay is not a simple place to make trance events
and you can be sure that if you realy make this event and everything will go smooth
many people will come from both countries (including me)
keep it real... |

Egypt has a huge, and very scary, problem with sexual harassment that doesn't appear to exist elsewhere in the Arab World (gender relations are strict in Saudi but the women are very respected from what I hear) so there tends to be a high male-to-female ratio at the raves in Cairo. Though Egyptian clubs enforce a strict "couples only" or coed group policy at the door to keep the inside on a 1-1 ratio. (Don't expect to get in to an Egyptian club with only your guy friends unless you're connected, with a celebrity, or willing to bribe the bouncer with hash) Things are different in the Sinai, 3agamy/Marina Beach, and Hurghada/El Gouna because these are more touristy and upper-class areas so there aren't problems. Pretty even ratio in Jordan. BTW there's almost a 5-1 female to male ratio in the clubs in Beirut (which has both some of the best nightlife in the world and the most beautiful women).

I'm actually thinking of going to Egypt for Kurban Bayram vacation dec 7-14. Hoping to go out to sharm with some friends. If anyone wants to do a really small free impromptu party one night let me know. I can talk to some friends about getting some dj equipment out there etc. if anyone wants to come spin a sunrise on the beach or something. Really casual. Let me know. |

there are two sides to every coin... sinai is not only peace n love n opium. it is also a place that is kind of a wild west, with control kind of split between official egyptian police/army and tribal beduin clans.
Furthermore, there are LOADS of political refugees from Yemen and Sudan as well as terrorist and extremist factions.
Sinai is a beautiful and magical place, but i am just not sure this is the place to make a big event at the moment.
