yeah i do not think you will find anything in Bangkok regarding trance, i have lived there before many times and never found it...Go to the Islands i am sure you find something there but of course music wise not so professional and a lot of commercial is played for party tourists to enjoy. Thailand was difficult to find trance but maybe it's changing who knows.

There is a club near Kao San Road that used to have a regular psytrance night. http://bktrance.co.nr/
Not sure if its still going or not...it was a fewe months ago.

There used to be a club in Silom Soi 4 called "Om Trance club" but that closed down a long time ago.

Phangan is very commercialised, although you can find some good psytrance parties. Often the best ones are not at the full moon time.

Krabi also has some parties...I think they will have some warm-up events for the new year festival soon...Antaro/Spiritzone is rumoured to be down there soon. Check here for their NYE festival:

Nygma, please can you send me the info that you have.

"Bangkok, Oriental setting
And the city don't know that the city is getting
The creme de la creme of the chess world in a
Show with everything but Yul Brynner

Time flies -- doesn't seem a minute
Since the Tirolean spa had the chess boys in it
All change -- don't you know that when you
Play at this level there's no ordinary venue

It's Iceland -- or the Philippines -- or Hastings -- or --
or this place!

One night in Bangkok and the world's your oyster
The bars are temples but the pearls ain't free
You'll find a god in every golden cloister
And if you're lucky then the god's a she
I can feel an angel sliding up to me."

sorry couldnt help myself - my friend just came back from thailand and reported quality events going on on half moon and new moon at koh-phangan inside the island in the forests and waterfalls. he said no one bothers in bangkok to run psytrance events that he knew of.

There isn't much of an electronic music scene here. You might find some clubs that play house or dnb on a certain night in RCA, but not much. Hip Hop is the reigning king in the Bangkok club scene. Still, I know of a few psy people here so maybe we can make something happen.

...I'm not necessarily lookin for psytrance, just any music there that's genuine and unique to Bangkok, but it sounds like the beaches are where it's at..           All is one. One is all.
