psytrance in bali?

just arrived in bali yesterday and wondering if anybody could point me in the right direction of some places that play psytrance indoor or outdoor, much prefer outdoor!
going out tonight so hopefully my local friend might know, hopefully people here can help too.
not been out for a psy night in about 2/3mnths.. :-/ i am in indonesia though, so its not all bad! |

i knew somebody was going to say that, but i was there for new year and it was really, really bad. not sure what the problem was, think the genny didnt have enough power as they had loads of lights. meant the decks were playing the music at about half speed. was shocking. most people left for gili trawangan. think there is some kind of conflict on that island at the moment with the locals. anyway ive been to all three gilis and lombok and now bali and no psytrance hoping to find some full moon or half moon outdoor stuff, or clubs, any psy really. but got told that they dont happen anymore, maybe that guy just doesnt know where to find them though, thats what im hoping anyway!
have found there is two psy festivals, one in may and one in june/july, but i definitly cannot wait that long...
preferably in or around bali as well. |
