Psytrance going Progressively slower

is it just me or does anyone else feel that psytrance is progressively getting slower,in recent times i have noticed the sounds sounding much melower than they did back in the old goa days. yet the dark psychedelic is getting progressively faster....is there a drift taking place are we moving towards a grander psy following or are we just so tuned in that we need to slow things down and feel more real....Psygone Mystic vs Psionic Sounds etc...have gone as fast as we can and dont want to troad the gabber way...or is it that indigo children are no longer children and the new crystal children are steadily taking over the scene? in case you dont know much about crystal and indigo children...look up google tons of stuff available

The thing is, i think, that psy ain't getting slower, but mellower and cheesy, at least for a large proportion of artists. Cheesy sound has always been around, but it was a different kind of cheesy ... it only used to be boring, now it's annoying cuz some samples, vocals, basslines look like they have been taken from a Scooter or Sasha set. On the other hand, u have Dark artists trying who stick it up to the old days, with psycho mad sounds, and leaving the mainstream trance. Full on is good, but u have to choose it wisely, or u'll end up listening to crappy sound, souless sound, with nothing to make your head work. Cheers
