Does anyone else thing this would be an awesome idea? Would probably have to be located in Germany. And rides/roller coasters would be designed to replicate the feel of the most well respected tracks of each genre (while they played during the ride of course). Live acts on the weekends, etc.
And there would obviously be a dark park, full-on area, prog/tech area, and a chill-out area. [but no futher subdivisions or else there would be like 100 parks lol] Everything would be fluoro at night.
I would go to that shit! What do you think?

I dont know if I would like that kind of entertaiment while on acid.
A Museum dedicated to the psychedelic experience, with interactive art and all sorts of media would be way more interesting for me.
In fact I have go to museums while on acid is quite a good experience, spcially contemporary art. There is one here that has a "sound experimentation room" with 24 genelec monitors in surround, cover in wood. They present "sound design" works which are quite impressive.

Chapel of the sacred mirror was almost like this, other than that it only had art from one artist (and his wife)

There's a couple massives in LA that have a ferris wheel and carnival rides and themed areas. Is that what you mean?

I won't take rides bt yes having a theme park is a good idea

Some people in Brazil thought it would be a great ideia to host a party in one.

There was a cool party in an old abandoned amusement park in sweden couple of years ago but it got raided by the coastguard

doesn't have to be an amusement park...A day party with a couple of rides and carnival games, stilt walkers and the vibe would be awesome. We have something called the Flamjangled Tea Party that comes close. It's not Trance though.

i think all amuzement parks are psychedelic..if you go behind the scenes..i mean a ride call Octopus, Rainbow, Aladins magic carpet, ..disneyland is super psychedelic...just munch on some super red toppers where shades and ride along...why waste natural resources you know we are running out of energy...use you ipods for the music...save the planet.....nah! no body has money here to make a decent party with free booze and you want an amuzement park..ftw
