Adigroovy you got the main point but its even more complicated than that i am afraid.Imagine something like "you give me cd's first and then give to the others after 3 weeks or else i am not buying" and stuff like that.It has to do with competition so no wonder these things happen.
By the way Elad (with whom i disaggree on many issues) said something very important but the way he said it is not very clear for everyone to understand what he was implying.
P.S Dear ILSE if you have something constructive to say on the subject then please feel free to do so,if you havent got anything to say then you better stay quiet like you said.Topic is distribution of releases and not what kind of music detox likes.Oh by the way since you mentioned it its not psychedelic trance music that i dont like,its the so called dark psy that i dont like which is not psychedelic trance music so dont get confused

BUT on a serious note... You can't blame Psyshop for turning your release down man. I will not comment on your labels music because i don't have an opinion about it but Psyshop is a business proposition and the only reason it exists IS to make $$$. So if they believe your label's release will make $$$ they would obviously stock & sell your CD and if they don't feel that way, they wont... So yes once again

hm. read it now. actually i cant believe it is true. i dont believe it is true. something went wrong with the communication, i am sure. psyshop is nice. someone there must have had a bad day or was just too "polite" to say that the market is dying. or i dont know. the reason is ridiculous. i like seres. very strange world.

Don't take this personal, but I would not sell this either. It's like the essence of boredom. You could play the 666bpm bassline and simply record the noises of a happy monkey locked in a kitchen. That would even give you the bonus of being animal-friendly and ecological.
Now flame me to death because around here one must praise or remain silent.

i dont think so. well at least what the ethics are concerned, i dont think that it is right to do so. i have seen so many releases of this style on psy shop also earlier. so this is actually as far as i know german media economy ( and i ve studied this inkl the lows ) i am not quite sure that it is okey to give that as a reason. it is a clear disadvantage for the label in comparison to all other labels from this style. generally not allowed. the distributor might have the right to do business with whoever but the reason doesnt seem to me proper what media low is concerned.
and why psyshop should distribute seres, i already talked about it here: http://forum.isratrance.com/dear-artist-how-many-copies-of-your-album-were-sold/page12/ . check if you are interested.
anyway i cant really speak about psyshop, i just had the impression that they are cool people....

On topic. I don't think they have anything against this sound, there's shedloads of that music being sold there and at the end of the day, they just wanna do the best business they possibly can.
If they thought your compilation would make them money, I'd be in stock already.
