This whole track has been a big learning curve for me. i tried to apply the knowledge i learned on isratrance.
i still have many ideas for it, like doing more percussion variations and some musical pads to fill gaps in the background,,
but i'm so sick of this song that i don't know if it is worth it to continue or start something fresh.

Please give me your opinion.
Does it sound shitty? if you do not like a part tell me.
it was done in FL on a crappy laptop with crappy sound card and crappy microsoft desktop speakers and woofer. so i'm in the dark with EQing.
it has not been mastered..only a compressor on master and thats all folks. thx

Hi,
only thing i didnt like are some rimshots, maybe they are just too loud. other percussion is ok, as you said, more variations could be good:) bass+kick are ok too i guess, but im not such a pro to tell you if your EQing is wrong.

i like your synths, very creative imho, you could try to play more synths at same time, you know, something really crazy (not saying theres nothing crazy enough ) and nice samples:)

thx for the feedback Taii,
i'm not fond of that rimshots either. i just never changed it from the beginning.

here is what i think;
i think lead in the end is to sharp on the ear.
i think the overall mixing is bad.- Do you think that with enough headroom, this is somthing that mastering can fix?
i think the arrangment is ok but could be better,
i thnk i can do a lot better with a fresh new song.

Hey *eLliSDee*
I like it
why aren't you going to finish it?
its very cool and what do you have to lose in finish it?

My only advice is for you to practice in mixing, when you have a project like this, take the opportunity to mix it well.. give it some time, listen carefully.

you can go about it from many different angels...
Sometimes you can start with the kick then raise the bass then percussion, then either leads or FX...

try and pull down all faders and thorough match all sounds, you can do this in many variations for practice and listen how the soundpicture change by just some minor differences... Also add some send reverbs to mix with the signal on sounds that you think feel too dry...

Anyway i liked the track and i think you should finish it..

Im going to practice mixing more my self also...
