so I guess all the album is about 'good bassline' ?           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

Killer album. This is a "final piece" for the good year of Psysex. I hope i can go to s.o.l.a.r.i.s. here in Brasil to listen their live PA.

marcos, if you haven't seen them live, please try. They are probably one of the most amzing acts I have ever seen live and that was about 3 years ago. Wow.

And the bassline is not the main element in the album

Along with the Cosma album, 'by far' the best thing from Israel in 2003. Especially the title track is a work of art...kinda public enemy meets the chem.bros meets psysex .

This is a really good album I have to say. It hit me totally by surprise when I listened to the samples at Psyshop.com, since I haven't liked the previous Psysex-tracks I've heard nearly at all.
I've had this CD for some time now, I can't really say yet which track is the best of them all. But there are a lot of good basslines and nice acids

All the best,

Kalle! / Tranceform

reviews 101

one - state some historical facts - who are psysex? what did they do to this point? any interesting tidbits?
two - move on to the review - elaborate on each track. saying "this is a cool intro", is NOT a review, i don't care which way you cut it.
three - give us your opinion on the entire album in a nutshell, make us understand in a few sentences what you thought about this album, wether or not it's worthy of our time and/or money.

btw, if this is psysex's album, Undoubtedly they are all their tracks, thus negating the need to go 1. psysex - intro
2. psysex - new wave hooker
etc...           "We Do Not Allways See Things As They Are. We See Things As We Are" -Ancient Chinese Proverb

Psysex are Udi (goblin) shterenberg and yoni oshrat (our very own Mr. Hanky). hailing from a respectable line of releases, which includes 2 albums, and multiple singles and EPs, psysex have earned their rites in trance's hall of fame as being tenacious, relentless and furious when it comes to banging tunes on the floor. Come in Peace is no different.

tracklist:
01. Intro
02. New Wave Hooker
03. Come In Peace
04. Altered States (Coco Loco Mix)
05. High Times
06. Puzzle (The Final Piece)
07. Flying Saucers
08. Return To The Vortex
09. Soda Pop
10. Come In Peace (Reprise)

we kick it off with an elevetor-musiceseque kind of shimmy, when the words "welcome to the wonderful world of sex" makes you smile. when the loops start to kick in on T2 (New Wave Hooker), you realize all of a sudden you're not in Kansas anymore, Toto. groovy, 80ish, jumpy and non-trance like, this seamless move from intro to track is perfection. NWH is a fearless juggernaut, pouncing off the floor, with buildup following buildup...
T3, come in peace, featuring samples from cult TV series, "V", is a heavy hitter on it's own, innovative and slick. wait for the moment on the break for some really cool digging rhythm.
t4,an oldie but Goldie Psysex tune, remixed yet again, is still a joy to listen to. one of psysex's classics, it remains in the israeli trance pantheons as one of the best musical tunes to date.
I could'nt connect much to Hightimes, though it is still very danceable. some of the sounds there do not agree with me on some turfs, but it is still a good piece nontheless. Puzzle )the final Piece), is my personal favourite. a classic in the makings, it has all the elements to make a superb track - a crisp kick, a throbbing bassline, relentless loops work and percussions, and a winning sample, featuring one of the best breaks yet to hit a floor this past year, Cosma's Nonstop Notwithstanding.
returning to the source, Psysex are returning to the vortex, with aged yet seasoned sounds, a pretty decent tune.
yet another personal favourite (and as a former soda pop addict and a bonafide Coka Cola addict today), this is one of the sweetest most admirable pieces of music in this album, winning you over with a wink rather than a punch.
concluding the album is the reprise of Come In Peace, the other side of psysex, which is so short of supply, is revealed. a side not so often seen by this duo, this one is a gem of a track, chilling, relaxing and soothing. class A!
to those of you not current on today's technological advance, pop this CD in the computer, for a ravishing video clip of Koopa Troopa, yet another side of psysex we don't see enough of. Ultra cool.

in conclusion, this album has it all, from heavy hitters, to intermissionary, to pounders and wow-producers, and a video clip to boot. Buy it!

Personal Favs: 1, 2, 3, 6(!), 9 (!), Video clip.
