Totally, would be nice to know.

Not sure what's at the start but he quickly mixes into The Wild Thyme Blows within a couple of minutes.

the track that he starts with is called SchizoShire - Oxygen ....and then the wild thyme....

people sure go bonkers for this. i am puzzled.

too fast without much variation--
makes people kinda wiggle in place not really dancing.
dramatic knob twisting and facial contortions get old after an hour.

to each thier own!

well said monkey. I too am confused by a good majority of 'dark' psykovsky-esque sets or music....in that it seems to have forgotten that people want to fcking dance when they go to parties, and hopefully dance for hours on end.

I cannot physically dance to this type of music for hours on end. Even with Hoffman's assistance. I will happily dance to dark/twilight/core/(music?) in the dark, for a couple of hours though....

I still have that Oh Baby song in my head that you played in the woods not sure if that's a good thing or not!!! hehe

anyone have any idea what song this is?

i'd really like to get my hands on it and study it in proper audio quality. this track is a TEXTBOOK in how to make psychedelic music without it being too harsh or random or demonic or any of the shit people bitch about

monkey, note also that people are DANCING THEIR ASSES OFF. even WOMEN are dancing like crazy! even Gloso is getting down!

'course its only 160bpm...           Quantum Frog / Anomalistic

no idea about the track.
people are dancing to the beat and bass I think.
I call it "shamanic beat"
but the leads and fx are too disruptive imo

ok ok they are dancing
i guess what i meant was,
after several hours, the dance just sorta peters out in all but the enhanced folk,
it becomes a vibration, which is not bad,
i just prefer to be able to keep up dancing for as long as possible, and 160+ doesnt allow that...

i am too old perhaps?!

or confused. cause sometimes its just what i need
for a few minutes
haha

If music can't make ppl dance then it can serve other purposes too, check this documentary

Even when I'm altered, I can't really deal with 160+ for more than a few hours tops - I can't sustain that dancing, or I need to take breaks often, or drastically alter my dancing because I'll just stomp myself right the fuck out...and I would prefer to be able to dance for as long as possible (especially while altered!) without stopping!

That being said, that window of time in which I *can* deal with it...that can be really fun.

Everyone needs a balanced trance diet!

edit: while I agree that not all music is made for dancing...my personal opinion is that the first and foremost responsibility of music played at a trance dance party is....to make people dance, and keep them dancing. A lot of dark/fast/twilight/w/e the fuck you want to call it music seems to me to have forgotten this in search of killargness.
