It's actually quite easy. All you need is a lot of water.

I might be in the minority here but it does look to me as though he is actually doing things with the mixer, not just acting it. His music is insanely busy, hence a lot of movement. Having played with this guy myself I can tell you that he is the real deal when it comes to not only composition but performing live. I have never seen anyone come even close to what he does musically, in studio and on stage. An absolute wizard, I watched him literally paint with sound using 5 or 6 tracks at once as his palettes, freestyling and improvising every second of the way through his 6 hour tsunami of a set. Having been involved in psytrance production and djing for a number of years now I still don't understand how he does even a fraction of what he does. But each to their own of course.

I can't tell for sure what's happening in this video.. but the last time I heard him perform.. tracks were being mixed in and out really fast. I hardly think he's ever doing things for show.

his is mixing things in adn out quickly, he is messing with the EQ bands all the time, bringing differnt amounts of noise from different tunes in the mix...in any case, its harsh and unmusical, to me anyhow.

It all sounds this way because it's out of context. I never liked neuro until I saw a psykovsky set last summer, it's something you really have to experience in its entirety.

I am confident that I will not start liking this dude's style if I force my self to sit on the dancefloor, when I can not stand a couple of minute's of youtube's clips.
This is not the music I want to be listening to when I am sober and gespecially when I am trippin...which has happened to me before and it made me feel weird in a really negative way, like I was being subjected to a "stupidity" experiment, like someone is playing walls of noise and glitch, at insane tempos, to the extent where i thought I was at a kindergarden party with down syndrome kids, wondering around with out purpose, standing still, trying to understand what the fuck is going on and try to find a deeper meaning to the randomness, as if there are some deep mystical patterns below it, but there were not, it was just random, dissonant FM, grooveless, and dragging on in chaotic boredom, with an awful lot of cheesy/cheap sounging synth work...not trying to start another dark vs whatever thread again...simply stating my honest feelings when I was at the dancefloor and listening to that kind of music.

I felt the same way before I saw psykovsky DH . I really dislike most neuro, it takes a good artist/dj with intent to be able to make it work for me. A good neuro set takes a lot more effort and talent than playing other styles of psy imo. It's more about working with soundscapes than going from phrase to phrase.

I dont think so, imho its much easyer to build a track in 160+ bpm and to make that sound psychotic, then working on 135-145 or whatever and actually make it psychedelic and trippy, just a simple lead on this hardcore trance tracks makes it sound wierd already while in a much slower track u have to build in sounds more carefully and make those soundscapes work on u in a more intelligent way. But sure its all about tast and for me psykovsky has always been something special and uniqe, haven't heard hes newer stuff tho.

Peace out.
I have to agree, that stuff sounds absolutely horrible. I'd feel sick after a few minutes.
But regarding 'this dude's style' this must be some new (crappy) direction he's taken cos he's undoubtedly one of the most talented psy composers around. Check out Wishful Sinful,
honestly one of the top psy tracks ever in my book..deep, musical, atmospheric...simply amazing.
Love how the mood changes at around 4.45 and the sweet lead coming in at 6.08

actually the audio on that particular clip is pretty bad , some of his tracks are pretty smooth sounding , still a bit fast though ,i think his best work was stuff like golden green shit , inner disorder etc , much slower and more insane
