What is he doing from like 3 minutes into the video?
What is the controller things he's using?
Who the hell is this guy?

basicly hes doing nothing.. =) no, but tapping those freq knobs on the mixer. Like everyone does, with a pre recorded set on the laptop. or djing.. Its psykovsky as it sais on the topic.

he could be tapping the delay time on the DJ mixer to do some basic delay fades, other than that, messing around with the bands on the EQ, and basically trying to look busy.
P.S. I muted the sound at some point to watch the clip, couldn't stand the walls of glitch/noise going on in that set.

all you have to do to make this kinda noise is chop up samples really fast over a quick bassline, correct??

god that shit is abrasive. seen him play twice, both times the 'music' took me nowhere except to headache land.

I saw that set too! and spun fire with my friend masae to it as well lol...out of all the experiences I've had with neuro that was probably my favorite.
I guess looking at it now I guess I wasn't so upset with it that I couldn't dance I just have to be massively fucked up or else I can't stand it for more than a hour or two - and only outside. The second time I saw him play inside on a Funktion One and...yeah. too loud

oh ascension, do you remember that morning very well? I remember quite clearly a bald DJ with a mohawk coming on and gesturing for everyone to come closer, then he acted like he was throwing out fairy dust with his hands onto everyone - then he played a really sick set and made a little speech afterwards.

edit: that statement makes no sense. My memory is obviously quite bad - that was a crazy night! If you want to make an apple pie from scratch...you must first invent the universe

That was certainly an OMGWTFBBQ kind of video. I never really could figure out how people might dance to an entire set of that madness... and yes, that's certainly the "look busy" approach to playing a canned set.
