I would prefer to listen to that while tripping than the likes of Psykovsky and all those "truly psychedelic" artists - at least I wouldn't have a bad trip bought on by their horribly oppressive sounds...obviously it's all subjective though.

modern prog? this is not psytrance, not even progressive psytrance. according to my definition that more house than anything else. but modern? most modern shitty progressive sounds more like minimal techno oder electro, which is even worse.
imho all three "ends" of the psytrance spectrum, namely shitty commercial pop-"fullon", housey (or minimal-y or electro-y) "prog" and "my fm amount is turned up more than yours" "psy"core, are equally (and utterly) devoid of psychedelicness. often even more so than the genres they apparently want to drag into the psy category.

I know all about Kleesh & why he's doing it. I think it's a very wise move.
I just put that track up because it's what gets played & advertised at gigs I've seen as pure psy trance.
I've always said that I see "psycore" more as experimental dance music rather than psychedelic. Actually having just sober the last month listening to Goa-Head vol.1-16
I found not much was what I'd call real psychedelic music.
Give me say the likes of Henry Saiz for a true trip anytime. Saw him last year & blew me away. Very well produced Psychedlic music.

I mean I get it.. 'Live' sets are all the rage these days.
But I honestly don't care. If the set is good, half the time I can't even see what's going on with the DJ and I'm more concerned with the party and the dancefloor than what the dj is doing.
But don't advertise as a 'Live PA' or is it really necessary to touch 8 knobs every two seconds?
I liked the set you just posted SPS, but the knobbing...
