hey all... i'm experimenting with a bit of digital guitar. though i'm frustrated with HISS, i'd like to maintain the integrity of pluck. every guitar vst i've tried seems to sacrifice pluck harmonics... and only realms with high hiss bring it back.
so maybe there's a special threshold plugin... or professional method you may know?
anyways, here's a sample.. i'm just seeing what works, please give me feedback!

Sorry i will go off topic,because i was addicted to metal music just before trance and i just hate how pointless are guitar parts in every track....
Maybe this give you inspiration to took guitar on the higher level,more melodic and powerful....listen to Children of Bodom(album Hatebreeder),but only music,guitar is epic.... here is one song for example(0:23),but you can catch the idea

soakingroots - that would really sound much better with a metal drumkit than to a psytrance oriented bass and kick foundation..
I dont use chords for electric guitar vsti, i just take a tone and whack it up with efx to make it sounds more psychedelic and use it as an effect, im not a big fan of the classic metal sound is psytrance, only groups that made good use of this IMO is SUN project and Dark soho

@monno - powerchords might not be so psychedelic, but i'm looking in context of shamanic rhythms....
@Xsze - yea man, i've seen bodom live a couple times so i know what you're saying, but i'm working to not sound so metal because it would - "sound much better with a metal drumkit than to a psytrance oriented bass and kick foundation.. "
@Freeflow - i'm working towards a different approach
@ohshit - that track doesn't sound bad... though i'm digging for something deeper within myself
here's a quick video showing where i'm at with this...with brothers quay overlay to make it more interesting =)

guitar stuff rarely works within psytrance , but i would like to see some more leads , like proper leads , monno .. that lead in the "transmitting raw data" track on the tits on fire album , thats good one .. , long musically rich developing leads , not rock or metal riffs on a sucky basline ... this sux for example , wtf !
but this one good
but alexi laiho > all psytrance talent ever million times over ..
coz heres there more technicians than musicians maybe ? anyway , music is very subjective , but no more crossbreeding fails
