For everyone who's been asking about psy events in Boston....here ya go!

~~~
Psyforia
Come dance under the stars along the Charles River as we take Psyforia outdoors again! (Weather Permitting!)
::: Moksa (T.O.U.C.H. Samadhi) Atlanta, GA - With the backing of the well-respected Touch Samadhi crew, Moksa makes his first visit to Boston with a very impressive resume. Having played his Samadhi-style full-on sets across the country, he’s known as a superior technician and a big crowd-pleaser! Come
ready for two hours of psychedelic devastation!
::: Dex (Detached Anchor), New Hampshire - You may know him as the space man or you may know him as the guy who shows up at every Boston party and puts everyone on the dancefllor to shame. His name is Dex, and he’s as energetic and intense as he looks when he’s on the dancefloor! Tonight, Changmian/Sonic Beating is proud to welcome this up-and-coming DJ to Psyforia for his debut performance in Beantown. A set not to be missed!
::: Eric Spaceship (Changmian/Sonic Beating), Boston - Eric brings us and eclectic taste in trance from Texas. One of Boston’s most versatile and original DJ’s Eric will kick the evening off with a set of psychedelicious booty-shakers and weapons-grade grovers. Arrive early to get your spot on the floor to
yeah, i hear ya, but it feels like warm up music to me.....and when the party ends at 2am, they should skip the 4 hours of warming up, and just get down to business
I would say thanks, but since this isn't my party, it wouldn't be my place to do so I just posted it because its coming up in a few weeks and I know people have been asking about psytrance events in Boston on here. Best of luck to the Sonic Beating crew with this event.
Vector, I hear ya about the 4 hours of progressive, but since I wasn't at that party, I really can't say. Me, personally, I would prefer a bit of downtempo/progressive in the beginning, leading up into the more full on. However, if you want to hear some "getting down to business" progressive, then go check out Sun Control Species in nyc this friday...its going to be amazing.
Finally i am able to find psy in Boston...
Lauryn i am interested in finding out more about events in Boston...how common are they?
Ive been in the psy community back in portugal for a couple of years and am interested in finding out how the scene is across the pond, no that im "stuck" here. Ill be overseas on the 22nd, but how regularlyare these events held?
Anyone been to Boom Fest in Portugal last summer? Anyone going to Freedom Festival this August? I think i remember vaguely to have met someone from Cambridge in Boom last summer...vaguely...
