I got the cubase free vids too, they are as great as the psytrance videos, my only complaint is that they are probably indispensable to fully appreciate the psytrance production videos for a cubase neewbie like myself
I don't use ideas. Every time I have an idea it's too limiting, and usually turns out to be a disappointment. But I haven't run out of curiosity. -RR |

It was not not a marketing trick, lots of ppl got the free vids. The fact that I got the free videoes had nothing to do with me talking about warez. Beside the warez issue was sorted out.

Suntribal - before making negative statements maybe you should THINK first and perhaps ask a pertinent question to see if people are getting that which is promised. As promised 50 people got the FREE CUBASE VIDEOS as advertised on my site.
Conny : the videos are professional and they expl;ain everything you need to know to create the track you hear played in the promotional video.
If sopme of the people here can confirm this who have all ready bought the videos (even though i beleive it has all ready been confirmed by at least one person on this thread) i would appreciate it.
many thanks,
Mark

Hi Guys,
I am now back from my business trip and would like to say a huge thank you to all those who have participated in the Psy Trance Music Production Course, the response has been mind boggling.
I am about to start my next project and will put up a new post regarding the upcomming project, probably in the form of a POLL to see what you, the users, would like to see in my next video tutorial course.
I would also appreciate any Testimonials regarding the Psy Trance Course to put onto the web site, if you would like to supply me with one please send it to mark@cubaseguru.com.
I will also be looking for around 10 people to "beta test" my upcomming course so again, if you are interested in that, please let me know via the above email also and i will get you into the beta testing process ASAP.
Once more i just wish to convey my unending grattitude to those of you who purchased the course and also those of you who have given me constructive criticism and also those who have been nothing but confidence boosters and kept me going through the whole process, many many thanks for helping me make this a succesful, life changing venture.
all the best,
Mark

Many thanks for making these videos Soundmagus, they've been a great help to me. I think for anyone wanting an insight into the methods and work flow of a proffesional making a psytrance track this course is a must buy. Its really helped me to focus on what I'm doing as a beginner since I now have a good idea in my mind of the overall process of music production so I no longer find myself getting so lost and demoralised. The videos are also full of little tips and tricks so I recommend having a notepad handy when watching them. All in all I fully recommend this to any other beginners out there.
If I can just make a few critisisms though. I think a lot of the course could have been condensed down by removing a lot of the repetition which would make the videos easier to follow. For example a lot of time is wasted showing you performing menial tasks over and over again such as browing your computers directories to find plugin presets and other repetative editing tasks which could easily just be explained/shown once and skipped over every time there-after. Also I think you could have been more descriptive during the arrangement sections of the course. You tended to go through whole sections only saying things to the effect of, "and now I'll just move that note there ... and err .... that one there" etc, rather than giving an explanation of what you were actualy trying to acheive.
Anyway dont take the crits too harshly, I still think these were excellent vids and a worthy purchase. I fully recommended these.
