can any one explain me how the psychedelic trance have connected with some magical stuff?
with aliens, elfs, eds, mushrooms and ...
about the clothes as goa gill said they just try to give light in the dark partys with the phosphore colors and that was the reason for the phosphor clothes but about the aliens and the elfs

Anything futuristic, different and imaginative has been used as themes in the goa scene.
Aliens, Krishnas, Elfs - Its gotten to a point where its mostly just kitsch now. Still, there are some artworks which of cause rise above the rest.
I think, there is no way around it, but the psychedelic scene as such has to do, at least in part, with an escape from reality. However, such a thing doesnt exists, you can only change your reality, but its still there.
To change reality, you try and change the settings, but you usually end up just creating something from what you know already.
Aliens are a trippy, life other places in the universe, cultures, right here, right now... Interesting.
I think, about the UV colors, it was already used in discos and such in the 1970ies, so its not special to the Psychedelic Scene at all.
However, I think you can safely say that the use of it has been taken to a whole new level.
Its great for transforming the night into something different and perhaps more interesting. UV lighting, during the night, thats special and unnatural.
Throw some LSD into the mix, and its even more amazing, since all the colors start to move and change.
Aliens, Elves, Dolphins, Spaceships, Stars, Mushrooms, Krishnas, Ganesh, Mandalas etc. They all represent something spaced out and trippy, in one way or the other, which is a key element to the psychedelic experience.. Thats where it comes from (I believe you know the popculture version already, Television & Radio invented the aliens, at the same time as the first manned expeditions to space were being planned ;-)
