In Brazil, there is little room for new producers, even the producers with good music, parties are only good with producers from other countries!

Chicky Party           Mushrooms make you do crazy stuff. Look at Mario he jumps on animal heads and fights with dragons.

well.. scene here is getting much better imo

it went downhill from 2005 to around 2009, and i guess some people just had enough and got sick of the big massive parties where the names are all that matter and the crowd has to be by the thousands, and smaller productions started popping up, much more goa parties and well i can honestly say theres a better artist selection by productions who do bring artists from abroad. the big parties are still here and the majority of them do suck, but atleast there are 2 big productions that pull it every once in a while combining big names, massive crowd and still maintaining a good vibe.

what i like the most about the change ive seen here in the past 2 years is the fact that the vibe from the earlier days of the scene here has been resurrected, and more than that, the fact that alot of the younger people that are forming the trance scene here are very much along the lines of what it was when i started going to parties, very open minded and kind people - not coming just to find an excuse to get fucked on drugs, this creates a great vibe for me in parties and i can honestly say i've enjoyed every single party i went to in 2010, and i go to a party pretty much every other weekend (this is a direct impact of the way i feel the scene here has changed for the good).

I don't know about Finlands scene. Big artists haven't really made any music lately. Texas Faggott released one album and Calamar Audio another and there really hasn't been any parties around, it's a bit sad since Suomisaundi is so special and I want it to continue forever. I'll take care of it myself if nothing else : )

dunno what u are talking about, we have parties for every weekend, lot of organisations doing parties. There is big comercial parties and small underground events and small clubs.

So finnish scene is small and good, been like this for years and will probably continue to be like this.

Offcourse partygoers change all the time but that how it is in dance music scene. old timers remember how everything was better in the old days no matter if it was 95, 00, 05 or last year.

So you get the "commercial" stuff that gets like 4k people

and then you get the more underground parties that are free, yet book people like Max from Etnica.

So there's both sides of the coin being represented.

Peace out.

YEAH!! B-Fest with Max!!! Probably the best party for me until now!
Outdoor parties in Greece are really nice but very few in number. I hate those that take place in full-packed clubs.           http://www.facebook.com/pages/Acid-Waves/210623772399578?fref=ts

Well in Switzerland it's getting biger and biger. In 2003 there was one or two Party's each weekend, sometimes three and mostly with national Dj's and Act's.

Nowadays every Weekend a minimum of 6 Partys sometimes over 12 and International Line-Up every god damn week And Switzerland is a really small country But there are also a lot of small illegal Outdoor Partys in the woods, even in winter with loads of snow

I'd love to go to a party on a mountainside, in the snow

As for Denmark, the scene is quite fragmented. There are the fullon parties, the progressive parties, and the forest trance parties for the most part. The fullon and progressive parties tend to be dominated by rather unpleasant types, although there are the odd exceptions. As for the forest trance parties, me and a few others arrange some here in copenhagen where, so far, we've had great vibes and good times. Also quite small though 150-200 people, but small IS good! You get to know everyone after a while...

Then there are the beautiful Moesgaard parties near Århus where much of the parvati crowd lives. Good stuff! Besides that we have the odd open air party during the summer that actually pull it off very nicely, despite intense government efforts to halt such events. Respect to them!

As for how the scene here used to be back in the day I can't say as I've lived abroad most of my life and only came back to Denmark about 3 years ago... It will be interesting to see what the future will bring!           www.soundcloud.com/vonoom | www.vonoom.bandcamp.com | www.facebook.com/vonoom | www.flikflakfamily.com

Mexico has many faces... we have the massive festivals with less people coming each year and popular isra-fullon names on the line ups, we have also a lot of darkpsy events with lots of kids inhaling glue and dissolvents and ocassionaly indoor parties at clubs / bars that are not that great for psytrance...

Small quality parties are rare and don't happen often. I have thought of organizing one but times here are quite difficult, it has to be really underground or you will surely have problems with police / mafia (which are pretty much the same).

in Quebec right now we're going through an interesting phase where there are way too many party organizers, and they're all really young and treat psy-trance as a hardcore rave.

we lack proper venues to make a party, so having a chillroom is rare... often the line-up make no sense really, just djs being placed in order of 'who has the biggest ego gets the 3am spot'

but yeah those are the 'every-weekend' kind of parties filled with mostly people under 23 high on ketamine and speed...

luckily we also have some quality parties, you'll find them about once every two months, people who get together and put a lot of thought and care into what they do.

all in all i think we have a nice scene, i'm just worried about the path that the younger people seem to be taking...
