Psychedelic progressive trance? The psychedelic part is very subjective. Before the rave scene infiltrated our filters, this is what proggy was, which is very similar to a-lot of stuff being posted here :

Seriously, isnt there a house forum to post some of this so called psychedelic progressive trance? Here too is some progressive psytrance :

Check out the progression in this track! It proceeds in steps, continuing steadily by increments from 150's to 180 and back(including downtempo's), now thats some progressive trance :

IM?? Yeah I know... But if there was one thing they were good at (before they went bad after B.P. Empire) it was the progressive stuff.

omg, this is sooo boring. did anyone notice that almost all tracks posted here have more or less exactly the same bassline? and apart from that it's certainly not psychedelic music. that style was not bad between 2004 and 2008 even though back then it wasn't psychedelic either. but at least it was good trance music. labels like plusquam, spintwist, iono, blue tunes, etc had some nice releases back then. it was around the end of 2008 (at the latest) when this style became more and more boring and today there's no reason to pay any more attention to it. but of course people do it. check the charts on psyshop, they are full of this crap. and there's a simple explanation: most people have no idea about music at all. that's why europeans listen to scooter, that's why yankees listen to boring college pop-rock and that's why trancers listen to music like posted in this thread.

sorry, it wasn't my intention to troll here. i just want to say the truth. no, it's not always a matter of taste. sometimes there's just true and wrong.

if you want progressive psychedelic music, check out the so called psygressive/zenonesque style. it is creative in most cases, it's certainly psychedelic and you have both dark/dirty and smooth/beautiful sounding artists.
