i would like to think of the next evolution for psytrance not as an evolutoin in style .. it will be more of an evolution that it will be much more widely recognized and accepted .. a much broader and bigger audience ..
as far as the styles are concerned, they will stay , no style could actully phase out ..
btw,have u noticed the new wave of dark but upbeat psytrance??

I think it will be a mixture of today´s israelian full on, with a lot of groove-funk breaks/feelings. And of course, HIGH QUALITY stuff...
I don´t want to think about it, but maybe nice progressive style as old Bitmonx/Haldolium is about to disappear... I listen to some good progressive stuff, but not as 2 years ago... Today too much housy-club music, wich is also nice. But I will miss that pumping progressive if it really disappears...

Me think deeper: bineural technology-sorta like shamanistic drums with beats that create resonanse in your brain-halfs, you won't need LSD to trip on that kind of music-it will make you hallucinate without any substances:) I would call it "Psy in 2nd power" or something like that. And if you would consume LSD on music like that... well, I would call that Psy in 3rd power, it's like, more power to you, or something...

i have to disagree my swedish friend
trance does evolve, and has had a lot of changes in time. some were quick (revolutions) but most of them were changes that happend with time (full on for example).
