@heady..i ve heard that baphomet has played in egypt with the pyramids as the backdrop...but im not sure how far this is true...
also heard about this minigoa in egypt which is not actually sharm el sheikh ..somone pls confirm ...

u shud be thnkful to the indians for tht. if it werent for them dubai wud of stayed Psy-less .. and for cairo i dont expect much.. even yahel wasnt allowed to play there...

and just to bring out facts...the indians alone dint start the scene in Dubai ..it was mostly indians but there were other nationalities involved as well..
and if im not mistaken the first parties were done by English djs playin goa trance and drum and bass at small house parites in 2001 in dubai...

i think the mini-goa you talk about is dahab, about an hours drive from sharm...beautiful though it is it really is not comparable to goa... |

nope...not that i've noticed anyway. thing about dahab is it's quite big on the adventure sports scene, diving, kite-surfing etc, so that's the main focus of activity and the people it tends to attract as a result are usually a bit more clean living than your average trance head, so that coupled with harsh egyptian laws make for a fairly trance hostile environment...more likely to hear exodus by bob marley than anything with a four-to-the-floor-beat... |
