yes, i did it. and you may not be proud of me, but i made it anyway
using nuendo2/reason/soundforge/vsts

too short?!? i really was surprised when the track ended so suddenly, was expecting the track to start when i realized that 4 minutes had flown by......personally think that's the quality of a good production, when ppl don't even realize time flying.......
ps : but then again, i was surfing the net while listening.... |

In the begining,
that pad is very resonant at some freq that makes me want to take off the headphones... please try to lower the 800-900hz freqs please..
hard to hear the bassguitar when the pad is playing...
besides that very nice floating beats... I'd add some interesting beat-synced effects... but that's me and my twisted label illness.

i like it! your right about the production it is very tight and solid but it is abit of a sudden end, which means it 's good, because as the listener i wanted more! bass line reminds me of fsol's papua new guinea.
i wrote a tune that is dubby ambiant that has a hip hoppy break beat, drum line, you might like.its called 'mayfly' at:

mayfly is very nice stuff man! like mine, it took different directions in the composition and has a nice ethnic/organic, but not cliche' feel to it. well worked, well-placed, well done!
now if i could only get some more critiques on my track.......
