i think its "mirror" watched it on acid
but wht an experience
also watch --resident evil--- after tripping only
but need to be too sorted out and with friends around otherwise heheheheheheee as zombi says its dangerous ............ |

I didn't like minority report at all... I recognize the movie can make you think, but think about it: precogs that lived all their lives inside a tank and them just walk around though the city?
IMO they got a good idea, but explored it in a very hollywodian and commercial way...

Just saw the movie "Unbreakable". Not really psychedelic... It's the history of two guys, one that have very weak bones (they broke all the time) and other that has survived three great accidents without getting hurt and never got sick or hurt in all his life.
There a moment in the movie when the guy with weak bones say to the other guy:
"However unreal it may seem, we are connected to one another. We are the same..."
I recognized the sample from the beautiful Cosma's track "We are the same".
IMO this movie is not so good.

what about lord of the rings? the hobbits get to blow smoke rings in the coolest shapes, prance around with elves and get the munchies all the time.. its also one of the most visually spectacular films ive seen.. especially two towers.. anyone whoz been to kasol.. isnt it exactly like the shire?

Nobody mentioned "Zabriski Point"?!
A '60's movie directed by Antonio Antonioni, who was also responsible for 'Blow Up' itself a fantastic movie.
The whole thing is like some slow moving acid trip, and the explosion sequence at the end is one of the best (and trippiest) peices of cinematography I've ever seen.
Vanishing Point is a good one too as far as speed-freak road movies go. Has some very odd flashback scenes and cool desert bits.
Cool to see Ninja Scroll here. I'm not a fan of Anime but that film kicks ass.
Have to say as well though that while 'Requiem for a Dream' was a beautifully shot and artistically great film, it was one of the most disturbing things I've ever seen and if I saw it on a comedown I think I'd be institutionalized.
Think a lot of people have got 'psychedelic' mixed up with plain old 'druggy' though... 'Trainspotting' ?????
And is it just me or does anybody else think 'Pee Wee's Big Adventure' is pretty damn trippy?

my list:
1. Donnie Darko - absolutely great movie that really shake the boundries of reality
2. Vanilla Sky - same with this one... your glued to the screen for over 2 hours, and when its over, youll see things differently!! =)
3. eXistenZ - a mindblowing story which also questions the realness of reality (as you might have understood, i love those kind of films =)..... )
4. Xchange - about traveling by switching bodies with people at your destination, what happens when someone steal your body??
5. alien dreamtime - a live concert in -93 in SF by spacetime, McKenna and roseX... really trippy!!
6. liquid cystal vision - so many wise words to so great music... not often you find something like this...
and of course, many movies that are pretty obvious... fear and loathing, matrix and so on...
