Just watched: CubeČ - Hypercube! ---wicked!---
found some new samples!

I think some of you guys need to be a little bit more discriminating in assigning the label "psychedelic" to a movie.. Jesus Christ Super Star??? I think that's overkill..
I recently watched the Animatrix, the 9 cartoons based on Matrix.. While I though Matrix Reloaded was crap, some of the Animatrix cartoons on the other hand are pretty good and definitely psychedelic. I think it's safe to predict that these cartoons will soon be liberally sampled by some of our favorite artists who lack imagination.
But probably due to my background, I will have to agree with the guy who said that the Russian cartoon "Hedgedog in the Fog" was a trip and 1/2. And the book is equally good. I can't believe stuff like that got through Soviet censorship. |

Guess noone has mentined Videodrome - David Cronenburg.. is killer altered states kinda sci-fi 70s flick. I know someone had sampled it in a chill track some time ago, "the television screen is the retina of the eye.... television is reality and reality is television"
Other favourites are the trip, Akira, Serial Lain(jap series), Twin Peaks amongst most of the ones mentioned before |
