Unfortunately yes, Andrejcid.... never had the occasion to see it in original version. I'll try to find one..
However my friend, the translation has been worked very hard, U can feel it. Nice Job for this gem !
BTW the techno track that they listen to in the limousine with the "pitbull" voice sample is soooo funny
To insist a little bit on it, i would just like to add that Kusturica's personality is GREAT (refering to interviews that i've watched/read).
And his band makes a so enjoying music, very weird, twisted, haha, floorfiller !!!!
Cheers

Anyone already saw "Waking Life"?
I saw it some months ago and it's pretty psychedelic in my opinion. Good ideas in the movie...

Yea you guys picked great movies!
What about Baraka? I think from the maker of Koyaanisquatsi..I sometimes see scenes played on the giant screens at outdoor parties. very stoney!
For japanese anime:
Ninja Scroll---WicKeD not for kids!

I guess psychedelic means, it cuts off your analytical thinking, maybe takes you some place else, maybe unreal or superreal in nature

I saw the movie Pi (like the mathematic symbol) some weeks ago, and I recognize the samples from Earthling - Patterns and from Dynamic - M Trick.
Good Movie, strange end...

full_on, me too! It's a great movie and I watched it 2 weeks ago... I've recognized that Yuli's (BLT) signature also come from there! Now, i'm comming to the frightening conclusion that Pi is, in fact, everywhere!

I can't believe that no one mentioned dark city! It's a fantastic movie and tristan sampled it in his dark city track...
I don't like movies that much..I'm more into anime cartoons...and again, I can't believe that no one mentioned the series Neon Genesis Evangelion...that one is so sick, twisted and confusing that if I watched for like 5 times I still couldn't realise what's going on...and after I finished watching all the 28 episodes I couldn't sleep for a couple of days just because of the massive amounts of shouting and mental brakedowns the main character gets there...if anyone has the Saikopod album Phutures and Options look closer on its cover and you'll see they have two plastic dolls in their studio which are from the evangelion series...I think they also sampled it in one of their tracks..
some other anime movies I love are:
Princess Mononoke (some scenes are pure artwork)
Spirited away (from the same producer as PM, it won an oscar I think)
Ninja scroll (my favorite style)
Metropolis (different style, great storyline)
Cowboy Bebop (funny at times, I'd call it a japanese version of a typical action cartoon)
