kurosowa is amazing especially his versions of macbeth and king lear...throne of blood and ran.
the scene with the "witches" in throne of blood is one of the eeriest things ever shot. both psychedelic fo sho

ooooh yeah! sin city kicked ass! 
its actually 3 adaptations in 1 movie. the common element being the city, sin-city.
its brillaint. the visualisation is out of this word. Quentin Tarantino directed a scene too (the one with benicio del toro with a gun in his head) ... dont worry, didnt give anything away.
great acting. smoking hot babes! and one weird ass script! a must see 
not psychedelic, but trippy as fuk!

IndiAlien, since you suggested it, I went out and watched it... 
KungFu Hustle:
Nice movie, some surrealistic scenes and lots of special effects make this movie peculiar. I recommend, it has some very funny scenes...

i'm glad u enjoyed the movie... i thought it was super cool, specially those guys... the number 2 assasins in the world- the freaky musicians who kill with music.... what a crazy concept! Killaaa music

have seen sin city finally...brilliant movie...
been reading some good things about "Kung Fu Hustle" will wait for it to hit theaters (in India)...
and btw, Revenge of the Sith is releasing worldwide this weekend...maybe not psychedelic, maybe not trippy, but a definite watch for anybody & everybody (yes that includes ppl who don't like Star Wars) |

"ONE giant leap"- againt no psychedellia but man this documentry blows me away.. because of its music.. and visual;s insane!
