Cybernetika – Atropos
Cybernetika returns with another far future epic expressed through music. This time the form is an energetic drum ‘n bass/neurofunk album with strong psytrance influences. Atropos is the story of Hayashi, a lone interstellar traveller who discovers the legendary Atropos, one of the three Moirae (the Fates of Greek mythology). Atropos chooses “the manner and timing of each person’s death,” cutting the thread or web of life, and within this narrative context Hayashi meets “his own destiny—and the destiny of humanity.” With cover artwork by Stefan Hürlemann.

Ass kicking album to say the least. Given away free as Cybernetika always does... and as usual better than 99% of record label releases.

It sounds more like atmospheric drum'n bass this cybernetika
anyway I don't think it's the best way to call all the artists listed as psy-breaks....
I think is kinda of lame
It's more like nu-break beat or techfunk

the australian Edgecore compilations have quite nice psy breaks and there are few volumes released i think, someone mentioned 21-3 records..
i totally agree, really psychedelic stuff, alot of pioneers here, but the one that stayed in my mind and fits the style "psy breaks" perfectly is Digitalis(Shakta) with his "Third State" album on Matsuri.
After this release my expectations got really high when listening this kind of music : P
