First of all check out any release on Sinister recordings. Wicked label.

Then check for Mood Deluxe - Liquid Records. The album is wicked psy breaks.

Some other Artists; AMB, Introspective, Rex, Groove Diggerz, Sam Hell, Robosapiens, Porno Breaks, Plastic Shell, 30hz, Digitalis, Eight Ball.

Happy listening!

I subscribe...Sinister is a wicked label...
and Groove Diggerz rocks...Digitalis is exellent (side project of Seb Taylor aka Kaya Proj)...
check out the ozzies Nu Breed...and Paradox 3000, Beta...

and I suggest you to check the online shop Addictech.com...specialized in breaks and dubstep...more underground than Beatport that is full of crap.

Thank you all for your help! Already had Mood Deluxe and have been loving that album.

@ Seamus.... i can see why you put a lot of those guys on there, but 30Hz? I don't see him doing much that's psychedelic, but maybe I just haven't dug deep enough.

@ Justing Chaos... Silicon Scally is so good. Thanks for posting that.

Thanks everyone for your help!

Perhaps suggesting 30hz was a little hasty. Although I did slip his Rmx of Pole Kat into a psybreaks set recently and it did seem to go down pretty well. But yeah - not very psy really. Shall we call it psy friendly, maybe? *goes red and hides in the corner*

I have to agree with you about the Silicon Scally tune. Wicked stuff. Thanks for the heads up, Justin!

Hey it's cool man I really like 30hz!!!! I have many friends in the area who play nu skool breaks and they rock a LOT of 30hz so hearing him mentioned as psybreaks sounded a little off. But I will agree he has a diverse range of sounds and can sometimes get a little crazier than your average breaks.

BTW adding to the list.... I discovered Luomuhappo on psyshop and just ordered the cd...... very interesting stuff! If you wanna check it: http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/fdr/fdr1cd005.html

Yeah its hard when calling it all psy-breaks, but its all really part of a new breed of breaks that crosses over nu-school, psy, and even electro. Not sure what to call this sound, I guess there is no need to call it anything really, lets just play it and throw more parties with this vibe on the dancefloor =)

Well said Giani, no need to give a name to that...BTW, wicked dj set at Sonica!

Dj Fixx, Superstyle Deluxe, The Rogue Element, Nitro, Jono Fernandez and Digital Base also deserve a mention. And for who loves weird stuff, check Boy 8-bit
