great track, im going to follow you on soundcloud dude.
i love the sound and atmosphere at the start around 30 secs in. i do thinkj the kick needs to be abit more punchy, but thats probably just my taste or the fact im listening to it in headphones. which daw do you use?? il be listening out for your tracks for sure.

nice tunes, mate. I didn't have that psy feeling (much more housy) but still a good job from arrangement point of view.
not sure about the delay overused in your bassline but if you are looking for clarity I'd suggest you to check first which instrument will lead the rest; i.e. if you choose the bassline, then identify its higher and mids freqs, fix any freq conflict and give some brightness, space to it. you can do that at mastering point; eq and multi band compressor.

haha, thanks dude. your like the 5th person to say that about the kick. I boosted around 50hz rather then 150...bad. sounded good on my system though. I use FL studio as my primary DAW. I also utilize sound forge, mathematica, matlab.
Yea, the delay twice was an attempt at unionizing both segments bass patterns. The second is composite time signatures. The build/second half got kind of half assed as my file was timing out every couple minutes of work and i gave up. I agree with distinctifying lead and bass components more, some areas definitley went dull, and i didnt introduce alot of the sounds initially with space, so certian areas got that much more cluttered. Particularily im interested in future projects to be designing music that is both bass and lead oriented within verses, so it would have to be settled pre-mastering phase. Im dreading the amount of side chaining that is involved.
