I have just come back from the boom festival, it was my first festival & now I cant wait for another 1! Is this festival worth traveling from england 2 go?
ahhhhhh what a great weekend! If i could define it in one word i would say loud and clear SHIFT! SHIFT! SHIFT!
What a super mega hyper live set! If you want it hard but not overly destructive you have Shift! If you want calm moments but without loosing the energy you have Shift! If you want beautiful melodies but without geting cheesy you have Shift! You just owned brother ! ... one question though if u read this : was that a 2hour live set or a 1 hour live set + 1 hour djset ... or a mix of both??? I would say a 2hour live set but im not sure...
Big ups for Vibe Tribe's Live set too! Perfect melodies and vibes for that time of the morning (8-9am). Didn't like that much their dj set style that followed so i took off after a couple of songs coz i could see where that was going, and i could confirm it while i was resting since i could still hear it partially. Anyway, lots of beatiful happy jumpy girls at the dancefloor while i was there. Really cool moments
Finally, in the last morning/afternoon, Talamasca at its best during his live set! It would have been the perfect way of ending this 2 day super party and my sumer vacations officially.... but wat hapened after that 2 hour live ???? I tell ya, Talamasca went on a proggie/morning djset for another 2 hours !!! OMG that fkin killed me! Sorry for all the proggie lovers out there but i simply hate that 'shit' The only time i enjoyed was when he passed one of my alltime favorite songs "A Frenchman in Tokyo"... that took me right up there again .. but not for long
One last word for the organization. We all know Crystal Matrix is almost always all about lineups and little more... $$$. The decor was very nice this time though, even if little. That central dancefloor 'thing' was very very cool !! On the other hand, there were only 4 bathrooms that i could see(ewww gross just by geting close to them) and 4 showers. The showers were too close to the dancefloor and didnt have any visual protection! At least put some woodened protections or sth like that next time. I found some very cool swimming pools just a couple of miles away of the party spot so it actually ended up ok. I got a very nice tanning afternoon and fresh baths for only 2.95 euros

fantastic weekend at psybertech festival it was a perfect goodbye to summer festivals i think..

about the music my personal highlights were wizzy noize, vibe tribe live and dj set, dj mogg, talamasca djset, mixtec and ending with dj veg, outstanding music all the time .. i m so sorry for hving missed X&I live act i heard they were very good!

Talamasca stayed at least 4hours on stage (not 2) with a 2hour live set and at least another 2 hours on a dj set (i say at least coz i left before he was done coz me and my ppl werent digging his proggie djset style and it was geting too hot and we were too tired already). I think he stayed all that time coz djVeg, the next in line according to the timetables at the bar, was late or having problems or something. I say this coz when Talamasca was supposed to leave at 11.30am (again according to the timetables at the bar) someone kept going to him and tell him something (i suppose to keep on djing for another while).
I agree with the rest of ur timetables.
One last word for my favourite dj sets since i didnt mention them in my last post:
DJanes Surya Namaskar - a great mix of southafrican fullon and dark melodic psychedelic trance!
DJ Kuntact - again lots of southafrican power fullon (Brethren, Abomination though he is Israeli, etc)... being a great setup for Shift that would folow! Powerful set!

This was a perfect way to end the summer for me back in Portugal, because the vibe of the party was really nice, smilling people everywhere and some nice music....
About the music too bad Wrecked Machines didnt play he was the one i wanted to hear.
Once again didn t like Vibe Tribe sound too mutch.. sounds too childish to me even they dj set.
what i did like was talamasca mostly his dj set, also veg dj set with nice flow and mixtech dj set also started very well with excelent selection(didnt catch all his set)...moog and D.vision where also playing very nice music...
The only time i enjoyed was when he passed one of my alltime favorite songs "A Frenchman in Tokyo"... that took me right up there again
