So what other psy websites, specifically forums, do you mischiefs frequent?
it can be local or international
im quite curious as to whether you guys have more local forums, for e.g. an east coast or west coast forum.. etc.
Or do you guys mainly use isra for party info, music discussions, and general banter?

The bay area psy scene doesn't really have websites per se, other than perhaps rawheaven's site
Mostly people use facebook I think? (they used to use tribe, before it started being unreliable), there's also a mailing list.
For non-psytrance parties there's also bayraves/norcalnights/brproductions (all the same site) and galaxyraver (which is invite-only and tends to be mostly north bay people)

Besides, in my head the term "rave" applies to any all-night party involving electronic music.

but i mean in general.. media reports of "Raves" etc.. raves play house. tranceparties play psytrance well thats how it works here at least. and i dont like being called a raver. its an insult

I don't usually associate raves with house... not since the early 90s! When I think "rave" I think UK Hard House/NRG, Hardcore, Drum n Bass, hardstyle and trance. Not house!

Social networking sites have largely replaced message forums... I can think of dozens across North America but very few are active. I tend to lurk around two in the states...
well thats how it works here at least. and i dont like being called a raver. its an insult
