hi.i have a laptop and a projector.where can i find some psy-visuals to project via pc to ap projector??? FREAKZ OWN THE SYSTEM |

Hi
It's great, good for you, now you can do nothing just buying some dvd's and mix them...
But, I think, that you have to make the animations, is stupid just mix videos that you didn't make...
I recommend you that the best is make your own animations, I use combustion 3 to make my visuals, first I draw them by hand, then colour them with photoshop and animate them with combustion 3 or 3ds max, and I use ArKaos to mix them live.
Think about it... do what you want, but I think is stupid to project material you even make

farbini have you used arkaos live?
Im also getting started with visuals, it will probly take me another year though to have enough material to actually gig with.
arkaos seems really nice from messing with it.

Yes I use ArKaos to project my work live, I use a midi controller and it works really nice 
But, first, you have to make the animations, ArKaos is only for mix them...

what are the images generated on?? photoshop?? always like it when i CANT tell lol...
so is the vj scene big in mexico??
arkaos will play animations sure, if you have the hardware to play out without dropping frames all the time  if you ONLY want to play stuff, then there are better progs (modul8 for example, or phatter show control systems...) - for me arkaos is at its best for creating insanity from still images (your OWN lol) - i just got an x-session (its the midi controller designed for traktor MP3 dj'in) which is great, had a little trouble getting AK to listen to it as well as my evo 149C keyboard, but now happily twiddling 32 knobs at a time  |

The vj scene in México is not very good... the most popular vj's are a crap, they don't make the animations, they only buy dvd's and mix them, is very sad 
So, that's why I'm making my own work.
Yes, is great use arkaos with a midi controller, i use an evo mk249c.
