From 1994-2000 I used to buy loads of psytrance cd's then I had a rest from trance for 2 years!!
Since the last 18 months I just download mp3's (for free).
From 1000+ tracks i listen to i like maybe 100 which I would like to buy but I don't know how to do this.
I am sure I read many or most independant labels (all music) have not agreed to sell music on i-tunes. Is this because the money is not enough or they are against the concept.
For the 100 tracks I want i am happy to pay say 200 euro. Should someone set up something like i-tunes for psytrance at a cost which is good for the artists & labels.
There must be people like me who want to shop like this and put some money in the system but don't want to buy whole albums just for the one track they like?
Any thoughts pls  ) |

what u talking about is gonna happen soon, i know some organizations that work on it, just be patience, in few months u will be able to buy single trax in high quality format from net.

very easy to do......simple Technology and any way this is the future...
1)a site which gives u a full or allmost full hearing option of the track.
2)super high Quality MP3's.
3)super safe c.card info channel.
4)wide varaity.
5)cheap prices i.e no more than 1 dollar a track!
i would think that every artist should do this by him self on his site and this way will have 100% profit...and a very close relation to his supporters...which will allso result IMO with more* people buying trax and supporting there Fav' artists.
as far as promotion....the artist can do what the label does which means post on the Diff' psy pages on the web...and the rest of the promotion he can pay for with the millions he will have from all the single trax he will sell
*(i said 'more' i know many will still D/L!!!)
main prob' i would think is tax issues....every one doing this will have to pay the full taxes...very easy for the tax authoreties to moniter this method!
the future is here!

I would so love this
I hate to pay 25$ for a Imported CD with 1 good track on it, plus most of the track i would buy doesn't existe anymore!
and artist would know WHAT track they did are good and what track suck!
