We are all hearing the same psy tricks from most of the producers.....same delay tricks,reverbs,distortions,eq's,filters.....So...how they are doing this? It's not about the melodies, too easy.
Thank for the posts!

record / bounce to wav a sound with reverb with long decay and then reverse it, it could be a vocal or a word and then you put the original wav (the one not reversed) in front of the not reversed, or put the reversed wav before a break or before a bulidup or it could be too an atmosphere or a pad

before reversing this one....apply a 1/8D delay with a very long feedback.... only after that reverse...U'll have a really nice FX... try it out

1.delay with long feedback and delay time of 1/8d .
it's not realy a trick but it's somthing that many artists use a lot.
2.Use low pass filter on kick and bssline group and open the cutoff slowly. many use this at brakes and at the beginning of the track.
3. same thing for group of all your groove.
4. play with one of your sounds with different effects. few delays. few reverbs. anything that comes to your mind and sounds good.

+1 on that one haha
no really, i got those 'every artist uses this!!11'-tricks after a few years of learning the basics... you then can analyze your favourite tracks better and recognize the effects and tricks used.. and recreate them |
